The Bucs waived Dzansi (knee) with an injury settlement Monday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Dzansi was waived with a failed physical designation last month and reverted to reserve/PUP once he cleared waivers. Once healthy, Dzansi can look for an opportunity elsewhere with a chance to play in 2025.

Dzansi was initially waived by the Bucs on Thursday after failing his physical. He reverted to the reserve/PUP list after clearing waivers, meaning he'll be required to miss at least the first four games of the regular season.

The Buccaneers waived Dzansi (knee) with a failed physical designation Thursday, per the NFL's transaction log.
Dzansi is still recovering from a knee injury that he suffered in August of 2024. He was initially placed on the active/PUP list Tuesday, but the Bucs opted to waive the 27-year-old offensive lineman. Dzansi has yet to play in a regular-season game since being signed by Tampa Bay in May of 2023 as an undrafted free agent out of Virginia Tech.

Dzansi injured his knee during practice Saturday, per Smith. Dzansi spent all of 2023 on the practice squad, and he will now be forced to miss all of 2024. Guard Ryan Johnson was signed to the Bucs' 90-man training camp roster in a corresponding move.
