Knicks' Landry Shamet: Moves past leg issue
Shamet re-entered Saturday's 94-90 win over the Spurs in Game 5 of the NBA Finals with 26 seconds remaining after exiting the contest with 7:54 left in the fourth quarter due to an apparent leg injury.
Shamet was hobbled after a hard fall to the court and made a trip to the locker room to be evaluated, but he returned to the New York bench shortly thereafter and was able to get back on the court for two brief shifts at the end of the game. The veteran guard finished Saturday's contest with five points (2-7 FG, 1-4 3Pt) and one rebound in 13 minutes. Overall, Shamet averaged 6.0 points, 1.5 three-pointers, 1.1 rebounds and 0.7 assists while shooting 45.3 percent from the field and 47.5 percent from downtown in 16.3 minutes per game while playing in all 19 of the Knicks' playoff games.

Knicks' Landry Shamet: Exits Game 5 with injury
Shamet exited in the fourth quarter Saturday of Game 5 of the Knicks' NBA Finals matchup with the Spurs due to an apparent leg injury, James L. Edwards III of The Athletic reports.
After landing awkwardly on the court, Shamet checked out of the game with 7:54 remaining in the fourth quarter and made a brief visit to the locker room. Though he's back on the New York bench, it's unclear if Shamet will be available for the waning minutes of Game 5.

Knicks' Landry Shamet: Strong perimeter production
Shamet recorded 13 points (5-12 FG, 3-7 3Pt), two rebounds, two assists and one block in 30 minutes during Friday's 105-104 win over the Spurs in Game 2 of the NBA Finals.
Shamet landed at least three triples for the sixth time in the past seven games, continuing to provide the Knicks with a viable scoring option off the bench. He has now also played at least 28 minutes in three of the past four games, scoring at least 13 points in all four appearances. Now leading the series 2-0, New York will have the opportunity to wrap up the NBA Finals with back-to-back wins on its home court.

Knicks' Landry Shamet: Drops four triples in Game 4 win
Shamet closed Monday's 130-93 victory over Cleveland in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals with 16 points (5-6 FG, 4-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two assists and one steal across 19 minutes.
Shamet continues to be a viable three-point threat, having landed at least three triples in four of his past five games. Although he offers very little outside his perimeter scoring, Shamet's efficiency has meant opposing defenses have had to make an extra effort when guarding him. Monday's win means New York will now have a week off before facing either San Antonio or Oklahoma City in the NBA Finals.

Knicks' Landry Shamet: Goes scoreless in Game 2 win
Shamet ended Thursday's 109-93 victory over the Cavaliers in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals with zero points (0-1 FG), four rebounds and one steal across 15 minutes.
Shamet failed to score for the fifth time in the playoffs, continuing what has been a largely underwhelming postseason. In fact, in his past 10 games, Shamet has averaged just 4.7 points and 1.2 three-pointers in 11.6 minutes per contest. While his points production has been modest, to say the least, his ability to spread the floor remains a positive, even when his shot isn't falling.

Knicks' Landry Shamet: Pops for 15 points in Game 3 win
Shamet contributed 15 points (5-6 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 3-4 FT), three rebounds and one steal over 26 minutes during Friday's 108-94 win over the 76ers in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals.
After barely touching the floor for much of the playoffs, Shamet scored 15 points in 26 minutes, more than what he had put up in his previous eight games combined. With OG Anunoby sidelined due to a hamstring injury, Shamet was the next man up, providing the Knicks with some crucial production early in the game. If Anunoby is to miss more time, expect to see Shamet playing a meaningful role once again.

Knicks' Landry Shamet: Logs 15 minutes in Game 6 win
Shamet totaled five points (2-5 FG, 1-3 3Pt) and one rebound in 15 minutes during Thursday's 140-89 victory over Atlanta in Game 6 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.
Shamet played double-digit minutes for just the second time in the series, as New York easily accounted for a woeful Atlanta performance, advancing to the second round of the playoffs. Shamet has been mostly a non-factor throughout the playoffs, averaging just 1.8 points in 8.7 minutes through six games of the first round.

Knicks' Landry Shamet: Set to play in Game 1
Shamet (knee) participated in Friday's practice, per Steve Popper of Newsday.
While Shamet sat out Sunday's regular-season finale against the Hornets due to right knee injury management, it looks like he's all set to be available for the Knicks in Game 1 on Saturday versus Atlanta. The veteran sharpshooter closed out the 2025-26 campaign with averages of 9.3 points, 1.8 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 2.0 three-pointers in 23.0 minutes per tilt across 51 games, shooting 39.2 percent from deep.

Knicks' Landry Shamet: Not playing Sunday
Shamet has been ruled out for Sunday's regular-season finale against the Hornets due to right knee injury management.
Shamet was in line for an expanded role Sunday due to the Knicks resting most of their key starters. Instead, the veteran wing will be sidelined to manage a lingering knee injury, but he should be available for the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs. Shamet will end the 2025-26 regular season averaging 9.3 points, 1.8 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 2.0 threes over 23.0 minutes while connecting on 39.2 percent of his three-point attempts (on 5.2 3PA/G). Jeremy Sochan, Jordan Clarkson and Miles McBride are candidates to see an uptick in playing time due to Shamet's absence.
