  • Kings' Corey Perry: Ends three-game point drought

Perry dished out an assist in Monday's 2-1 loss to the Capitals. Perry found Anze Kopitar on a second-period power play to bring the Kings back within one score. With the helper, Perry ended a three-game point drought and is up to 12 points through 14 games this season. Although his current offensive pace is unlikely to last -- he had 30 points in 81 regular-season outings with Edmonton in 2025-26 -- the 40-year-old winger still has some use in fantasy leagues, especially as long as he continues to log big minutes with the man advantage -- he's averaging 3:11 this year.

  • Kings' Corey Perry: Hot start continues

Perry scored a goal and provided a power-play assist in Sunday's 3-2 win over the Penguins. Perry assisted his fellow NHL veteran of 20-plus years, Anze Kopitar, in the first period before scoring another game-tying goal himself later in the third. Perry has been electric to start the season with seven goals, four assists and 25 shots on goal in just 10 appearances. He hasn't been a point-per-game player since the 2013-14 campaign with the Ducks, so while this trend likely won't last, he could use this momentum to rocket his production above the 45-point mark for the first time since the 2017-18 season. The Kings have relied on the 40-year-old winger early on this season, as he's averaging over three minutes of power-play time per game. With at least one point in eight of his last nine games, Perry is a great streaming option in most fantasy formats and should be rostered in deep leagues unless his role changes.

  • Kings' Corey Perry: Goal, fight in loss

Perry scored a goal on two shots and added five PIM in Thursday's 5-2 loss to the Panthers. Perry briefly gave the Kings a 2-1 lead in the first period with his goal. The winger also got into a late scrap with A.J. Greer near the end of the contest. Perry continues to impress for the Kings, with his role looking like a power-play specialist. He's now at six goals, three assists, 24 shots on net and a plus-4 rating through nine appearances this season. As long as the production is there, he's worth consideration in fantasy as a waiver-wire pick-up.

  • Kings' Corey Perry: Contributes to late comeback

Perry scored two goals on four shots, added two hits and went plus-2 in Thursday's 4-3 shootout loss to the Red Wings. Perry scored at 17:47 of the third period, and he was credited with a deflection on a Quinton Byfield shot 40 seconds later on the game-tying goal. It's unclear if that second goal will stand as Perry's, but there's no denying his effectiveness in a net-front role. If it holds up as his, he has five goals and two assists through six appearances with the Kings, and he's added 12 shots on net and a plus-6 rating. The Kings dressed seven defensemen Thursday, allowing Perry to take a turn on the second line while Trevor Moore (personal) was unavailable.

  • Kings' Corey Perry: Produces two points

Perry scored a goal on two shots, added an assist and went plus-2 in Tuesday's 4-3 win over the Sharks. Perry has had a remarkable start to his time with the Kings, picking up three goals and two assists over five appearances since returning from a knee surgery. The 40-year-old winger logged his first multi-point effort of 2025-26, scoring in the first period and setting up Jeff Malott's goal in the second. Perry has added eight shots on net and a plus-4 rating. He's on the fourth line at even strength, but his spot on the second power-play unit gives him a little extra fantasy value if this hot start on offense isn't a mirage.

  • Kings' Corey Perry: Pots another goal

Perry scored a goal in Saturday's 5-4 shootout loss to the Predators. Perry has scored in back-to-back games. The 40-year-old winger has added five shots on net and a plus-1 rating while filling a fourth-line role. Perry doesn't throw his body around much, but he should still get some PIM through his agitation skills. His power-play role on the first unit also provides some upside for fantasy managers, but it's tough to see him doing better than his 30-point campaign from the 2024-25 regular season.

  • Kings' Corey Perry: Scores first goal with new team

Perry scored a power-play goal on three shots in Thursday's 3-2 overtime win over the Stars. Perry's first goal as a King came against one of his former teams. The 40-year-old is expected to get a look as a net-front power-play option, which could help bolster his scoring numbers. His other assignment -- a fourth-line gig at even strength -- is unlikely to yield significant offense. He has a goal, four shots and two PIM through two appearances since returning from a knee injury that required surgery.

  • Kings' Corey Perry: Making season debut Tuesday

Perry (knee) will make his 2025-26 debut Tuesday in St. Louis, Zach Dooley of the Kings' official site reports. Perry sustained a knee injury prior to the start of training camp and subsequently underwent surgery. The 40-year-old was placed on injured reserve Oct. 6, and he'll make his Kings debut Tuesday after missing the first six games of the season. The veteran winger will likely be eased into action, but he could eventually play a prominent role for a struggling Los Angeles squad that is 1-3-2 to begin the year.

  • Kings' Corey Perry: Resumes skating

Perry (knee) has been skating for about a week, John Hoven of SiriusXM NHL Network Radio reports Wednesday. Perry still has hurdles to clear before being ready to play, but he seems to be progressing nicely. He was originally projected to be out 6-8 weeks after undergoing knee surgery Sept. 12. If that timetable holds, the more optimistic end of it would have Perry return around Oct. 25 in Nashville. He'll likely serve in a bottom-six capacity once he's ready.

Perry (knee) was put on injured reserve Monday, PuckPedia reports. Perry sustained a knee injury Sept. 12 while on the ice ahead of training camp, and he underwent surgery the following day. It's unclear how he's progressing in his recovery, but if his original recovery timeline of 6-8 weeks goes as planned, the veteran winger might be able to make his debut with the Kings sometime in late October.

Perry had knee surgery Friday and will be out of action for 6-8 weeks. Perry suffered the knee injury while skating Friday and quickly went under the knife. The 40-year-old veteran was expected to start the season on the fourth line after signing with the Kings while seeing second unit power-play time. Perry will miss 3-5 weeks of regular-season action while recovering. He had 19 goals and 11 assists in 81 regular-season games with Edmonton in 2024-25 and was outstanding in the playoffs, garnering 10 goals and four helpers across 22 contests.

Perry scored a goal on three shots and added two hits in Friday's 5-4 double-overtime loss to the Panthers in Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Finals. • Oilers' Corey Perry: Helps out on power play

Perry logged a power-play assist, two shots on goal, two hits and four PIM in Wednesday's 4-3 overtime win over the Panthers in Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Finals. Perry took both penalties in the first period. He made up for the misdeeds by helping out on Leon Draisaitl's game-winner 19:29 into overtime. It continues a fantastic run for the 40-year-old Perry this postseason. The winger has earned 11 points, 23 shots on net, 28 hits, 12 PIM and a plus-4 rating across 17 playoff outings. He'll likely spend this series on the top line alongside Connor McDavid as a replacement for Zach Hyman (wrist).

  • Oilers' Corey Perry: Productive on top line with McDavid

Perry scored a goal in Thursday's 6-3 win over the Stars in Game 5. Perry gave the Oilers a 1-0 lead on the power play at 2:31 of the first period. It was Edmonton's first shot of the game. Perry has also stepped onto the first line due to Zach Hyman's (arm) absence, and that means an even-strength gig with Connor McDavid and Ryan Nugent-Hopkins. It's likely Perry's best offensive opportunity since his Ducks days. Perry has three points (one goal, two assists) in his last two games and 10 points, including seven snipes, in 16 games in the playoffs. Those seven goals are the most by a player age 39 or older (at the start of the playoffs) in a single postseason. Perry had been tied with four players: Teemu Selanne (2011; Ducks), Mark Recchi (2010; Bruins), Ron Francis (2002; Hurricanes) and Jean Beliveau (1971; Canadiens). Perry turned 40 on May 16.

Perry scored a goal on three shots, dished an assist, added two PIM and levied four hits in Tuesday's 4-1 win over the Stars in Game 4. Perry had gone five games without a point, a stretch that corresponded with his move off the top line. The 40-year-old winger has still put together a strong postseason, earning six goals and three assists over 15 contests. He's added 19 shots on net, 26 hits and a plus-4 rating in the playoffs while moving around the lineup and seeing steady power-play usage.

The helper was Perry's fifth point in eight playoff contests. He's added 11 shots on net, 14 hits and a plus-6 rating through eight playoff appearances.
