  • Stars' Thomas Harley: Will miss road trip

Harley (lower body) remains week-to-week and won't accompany the Stars on the team's four-game road trip, Lia Assimakopoulos of The Dallas Morning News reports Wednesday. Harley is mired in a 16-game goalless streak while chipping in a mere two helpers over his last nine outings. Further to the point, the 24-year-old defenseman failed to put a shot on net in three of his previous four outings. However, his nagging injury probably contributed to his offensive struggles.. With Ilya Lyubushkin (undisclosed) also not making the trip, the recently recalled Vladislav Kolyachonok should see plenty of minutes.

  • Stars' Thomas Harley: Sitting out Saturday, week-to-week

Harley won't play Saturday versus the Flyers, Stars radio analyst Bruce LeVine reports, and the team adds he is week-to-week with a lower-body injury. Harley will miss some time due to the injury, which has seemingly been a problem for a bit now. The 24-year-old has just two assists over his last nine games following a hot start to the year. Kyle Capobianco will enter the lineup to replace Harley on Saturday, and he will likely stay in throughout Harley's absence.

  • Stars' Thomas Harley: Game-time call

Harley (undisclosed) will be a game-time decision against Philadelphia on Saturday, Owen Newkirk of DLLS Sports reports. Harley was also a game-time call for Thursday's 7-0 win over Montreal before being in the lineup. He didn't participate in Saturday's morning skate, but Kyle Capobianco appeared to be a placeholder during the session. Harley has compiled one goal, nine assists, 21 shots on net, 43 blocked shots and nine hits across 18 appearances this season.

  • Stars' Thomas Harley: Inks long-term extension

Harley signed an eight-year, $84.7 million contract extension with the Stars on Tuesday, Darren Dreger of TSN reports. Harley is now guaranteed to be a part of the Stars' long-term future. The 24-year-old defenseman's deal is front-loaded to some extent. Harley should continue to see top-four minutes and power-play time, making him a rising star in fantasy in the near future.

  • Stars' Thomas Harley: Set to play

Harley (illness) is expected to play Saturday versus the Blues, Sam Nestler of DLLS Stars reports. Harley was a game-time decision heading into this contest, but it looks like he's good to go. He has a goal and five assists through four games this season while seeing top-four minutes and power-play time. Nils Lundkvist (lower body) will be out, allowing Ilya Lyubushkin to draw back in.

  • Stars' Thomas Harley: Dealing with illness

Harley missed Friday's practice session due to an illness but is expected to be available for Saturday's game in St. Louis, Brien Rea of FanDuel Sports Network Southwest reports. Harley has had a strong start to the 2025-26 season, recording a goal, five assists, 14 blocked shots, six PIM and a hit while averaging 22:59 of ice time. Although he's dealing with an illness, it's encouraging that the Stars expect him to suit up Saturday.

  • Stars' Thomas Harley: One of each Saturday

Harley scored a goal on two shots, added an assist, blocked four shots and logged two PIM in Saturday's 5-4 shootout win over the Avalanche. Harley opened the scoring in the first period and set up a Jason Robertson tally in the second. With a goal, three assists and nine blocks over the first two games of the season, Harley is picking up right where he left off last year. The 24-year-old defenseman has high-end scoring skills from the blue line and should be rostered in virtually all fantasy formats.

  • Stars' Thomas Harley: Dishes two helpers

Harley recorded two assists, five blocked shots and two PIM in Thursday's 5-4 win over the Jets. Harley helped out on goals by Tyler Seguin and Wyatt Johnston early in the third period. The 24-year-old Harley is poised to be a fixture in the Stars' top four and should also feature on the power play. His offense could be limited if Miro Heiskanen gets the premium minutes, but Harley's talented enough and Dallas' lineup is deep enough that both blueliners should find success. Harley reached the 50-point mark in 78 regular-season outings in 2024-25, his second full campaign.

  • Stars' Thomas Harley: Provides power-play assist

Harley notched a power-play assist and two hits in Tuesday's 3-1 win over the Jets in Game 4. Harley actually saw his highest ice-time total of the second round, logging 26:09 in Game 4 even with Miro Heiskanen (knee) back in the lineup. Harley has played exceptionally in the absence of Heiskanen, and head coach Pete DeBoer probably doesn't want to mess with what's working. Harley has four points over four games versus the Jets in the second round, and he's at a total of nine points, 20 shots on net, 16 hits, 27 blocked shots and a minus-5 rating across 11 playoff appearances.

  • Stars' Thomas Harley: Earns assist in Game 1 win

Harley logged an assist, two shots on goal and three blocked shots in Wednesday's 3-2 win over the Jets in Game 1. Harley set up the second of Mikko Rantanen's three goals in the game. The 23-year-old Harley has gotten on the scoresheet in six of eight playoff contests. He's at two goals, four assists, 12 shots on net, 24 blocked shots, 11 hits and a minus-4 rating. The blueliner continues to see big minutes in a top-four role and on the power play, and he has the production to match.

  • Stars' Thomas Harley: Gets lucky bounce for goal

Harley scored a goal on two shots, went plus-2 and blocked three shots in Monday's 6-2 win over the Avalanche in Game 5. Harley's shot bounced up and over Mackenzie Blackwood for the Stars' second goal. Things are going well for Harley, who has two goals, two assists, a plus-1 rating, five shots on net, five hits and 16 blocked shots over five playoff outings. The 23-year-old defenseman continues to play on the top pairing and will maintain a large role even when Miro Heiskanen (knee) is back in action.

  • Stars' Thomas Harley: Records power-play helper

Harley logged a power-play assist and two blocked shots in Wednesday's 2-1 overtime win over the Avalanche in Game 3. Harley set up Jamie Benn's game-tying goal at 9:18 of the third period. The 23-year-old Harley has a goal, two power-play assists, eight blocked shots and a plus-1 rating over three playoff contests. He's been one of the Stars' most consistent players and should continue to do that while being the team's leader on the blue line in the first round.

  • Stars' Thomas Harley: Notches power-play assist

Harley logged a power-play assist and six blocked shots in Saturday's 5-1 loss to the Avalanche in Game 1. Harley set up Roope Hintz's third-period tally. The 23-year-old Harley had 26 points and a plus-7 rating over 29 contests between the start of February and the end of the regular season. Harley will function as the Stars' top blueliner until Miro Heiskanen (knee) returns but will probably retain a heavy workload once Heiskanen is back in the lineup. With 50 points and a plus-32 rating in 78 regular-season outings, Harley can handle big minutes in all situations.

  • Stars' Thomas Harley: Getting rest Saturday

Harley is not on the ice for warmups ahead of Saturday's game versus Utah, indicating he's being rested, Stars radio analyst Bruce LeVine reports. Per the team, Harley is officially out for maintenance reasons. He's logged at least 24 minutes in four straight games, making it unlikely that this will be a long-term concern. After Saturday, the Stars play on the road, with stops in Detroit on Monday and at Nashville on Wednesday to conclude the regular season. Harley could return to the lineup for at least one of those contests.

  • Stars' Thomas Harley: Secures 50-point campaign

Harley managed a power-play assist, four blocked shots and a minus-2 rating in Tuesday's 6-5 overtime loss to the Canucks. Harley has a goal and two helpers in his last three games. This was his first power-play point since March 26 versus the Oilers, but Harley has remained on the top unit in that span. The 23-year-old reached the 50-point mark Tuesday, doing so with 16 goals, 34 assists, a plus-33 rating, 166 shots on net and 109 blocked shots over 76 appearances. With the timeline for Miro Heiskanen's (knee) return still hazy, Harley will continue to operate as the Stars' top blueliner.

  • Stars' Thomas Harley: Reaches 100-point mark in career

Harley logged two assists, including one on the power play, three shots on goal and a plus-2 rating in Wednesday's 4-3 win over the Oilers. Harley had a hand in Wyatt Johnston's opening goal and Jason Robertson's power-play tally, which completed a natural hat trick. The second assist was Harley's 100th NHL point, a mark he achieved in just 188 contests, which is quick work for a blueliner. He's collected three goals and five assists over his last five outings and now has 47 points (14 on the power play), 153 shots on net, 95 blocked shots and a plus-29 rating over 69 contests. His scoring numbers -- 15 goals, 32 assists -- are identical to his 79-game output from the 2023-24 regular season, showing a bit of growth in the 23-year-old's second full campaign.

  • Stars' Thomas Harley: Buries goal in win

Harley scored a goal on three shots in Sunday's 4-1 win over the Canucks. Harley continues to surge on offense with two goals and seven assists over his last seven contests. While he had an assist Saturday versus the Oilers, he also took a minus-3 rating in one of his worst defensive performances of the year, but he bounced back with a solid all-around effort Sunday. Harley is now at 12 goals, 39 points, 133 shots on net, 86 blocked shots and a plus-26 rating through 62 appearances. Concerns over the sustainability of his 15-goal, 47-point campaign in 2023-24 have at least partially been alleviated by his continued strong play in 2024-25, which has him on track to finish with similar scoring numbers.

  • Stars' Thomas Harley: Provides pair of helpers in win

Harley logged two assists, three shots on goal and two PIM in Friday's 6-2 win over the Kings. Harley set up Jason Robertson on the opening goal and also helped out on a Wyatt Johnston power-play tally in the second period. This was a memorable February for Harley, who had three goals and six assists across eight NHL games while also filling in with Team Canada as an injury replacement during the 4 Nations Face-Off. It's quite likely he'll be in consideration for the Olympic roster next year as well. The 23-year-old blueliner is up to 10 goals, 23 assists, 121 shots on net, 79 blocked shots and a plus-29 rating over 57 appearances in 2024-25.

  • Stars' Thomas Harley: Three-game goal streak

Harley nabbed a power-play goal Saturday in a 4-2 win over New Jersey. Harley put the Stars up 2-0 with a wrist shot from the top of the left face-off circle at 5:44 of the first period. It was his 10th goal of the season, and it extended his goal streak to three games (three goals, one assist). Harley was a mid-tourney addition to Team Canada at the 4 Nations Face-Off when the team was hit with both injuries and illness, and he acquitted himself well. In fact, we wouldn't be surprised if his soaring confidence results in an uptick in production back on NHL ice.

  • Stars' Thomas Harley: Goal, assist in win

Harley scored a goal, added a power-play assist and blocked two shots in Saturday's 8-3 win over the Sharks. Harley has two goals and four assists over his last five contests, and he's added a plus-3 rating in that span. The blueliner should continue to see time on the first pairing and top power-play unit as long as Miro Heiskanen (knee) is out. Harley has a total of nine goals, 29 points, a plus-26 rating, 112 shots on net and 77 blocked shots through 53 games this season.
