Bruins' Mason Lohrei: Buries goal Saturday
Lohrei scored a goal in Saturday's 3-2 win over the Canadiens.
Lohrei has a goal and three assists over four contests since returning from a five-game stint as a healthy scratch. He could be poised for a larger role if Charlie McAvoy (face) misses time following his early exit from Saturday's game. Lohrei is up to 10 points, 11 shots on net, 18 blocked shots and a plus-2 rating across 15 appearances. There's scoring upside here already, and that will increase if he lands more consistent power-play usage.

Bruins' Mason Lohrei: Out of coach's dog house for now
Lohrei picked up two assists in a 5-3 win over Toronto on Saturday.
Lohrei was a healthy scratch for five games before returning to the lineup in Saturday's win. He got a chance to play due to the absence of Charlie McAvoy (personal). Lohrei has eight points (one goal, seven assists) in 12 games. He still needs to show he can earn consistent ice time to be more than a spot-filler for fantasy squads.

Bruins' Mason Lohrei: Fuels offense in three-point effort
Lohrei collected three assists in Saturday's 3-2 win over the Avalanche.
It was the first multi-point performance of the season for Lohrei, who added three blocked shots, a hit and a plus-2 rating to his ledger. The 24-year-old blueliner has one goal, six points and 14 blocks to begin the season. After recording an NHL-worst minus-43 rating in 2024-25, he has an even plus-minus rating through 10 games this campaign.

Bruins' Mason Lohrei: Tallies on power play
Lohrei scored a power-play goal on two shots and went minus-2 in Thursday's 7-5 loss to the Ducks.
Lohrei's goal tied the game at 3-3 late in the second period, but the offense was just getting going on both sides. This was Lohrei's first goal and first power-play point of the campaign, as he's been moved into a smaller role with Charlie McAvoy leading the Bruins' blue line. Through nine contests, Lohrei has three points, eight shots on net, 11 blocked shots and a minus-2 rating, and he remains firmly in a top-four role.

Bruins' Mason Lohrei: Manages assist in loss
Lohrei provided an assist in Thursday's 6-5 loss to the Golden Knights.
The helper was Lohrei's first point of the year in five appearances. He's playing in a top-four role at even strength, but he's lost the top power-play gig to Charlie McAvoy after filling in for him in that spot last year. Lohrei broke out with 33 points in 77 appearances in 2024-25, but he also had a minus-43 rating. The offense may stagnate in a smaller role, but his defensive play should improve with more experience. However, his lack of physicality makes him tough to roster in some fantasy formats if he's not generating enough offense.

Bruins' Mason Lohrei: Inks two-year deal
Lohrei signed a two-year, $6.4 million contract with Boston on Monday.
Lohrei compiled five goals, 33 points, 92 shots on net and 103 blocked shots across 77 appearances during the 2024-25 regular season. He also ranked second on the team with 16 power-play points, but injuries to Charlie McAvoy (shoulder) and Hampus Lindholm (kneecap) played a part in that production. Still, Lohrei has positioned himself well for a larger role in 2025-26, which could include more time on Boston's top power-play unit.

Bruins' Mason Lohrei: Manages power-play assist
Lohrei logged a power-play assist and three shots on goal in Saturday's 2-1 loss to the Red Wings.
Lohrei was a game-time decision due to an illness, and he ended up playing just 16:44 in the contest, his lowest ice-time total since Dec. 21 versus the Sabres. Despite likely not being 100 percent, Lohrei was able to chip in a helper on Morgan Geekie's second-period tally. For the season, Lohrei is up to 30 points (14 on the power play), 83 shots on net, 92 blocked shots and a minus-34 rating over 69 appearances. While his offense is intriguing for a blueliner, his all-around game could still use some refinement.

Lohrei has been limited to two goals over six outings in March. His tally Tuesday tied the game at 2-2 in the third period. While he's dropped in consistency a bit lately, the 24-year-old defenseman has still been a breakout player this season with five goals, 29 points, 72 shots on net, 86 blocked shots and a minus-18 rating through 61 contests overall.

Bruins' Mason Lohrei: Scores on power play Saturday
Lohrei scored a power-play goal on three shots in Saturday's 3-2 win over the Penguins.
Lohrei's goal was his first since Jan. 28, though he has picked up the pace recently with five points across his last four outings. The defenseman continues to fill in on the top power-play unit in the absence of Charlie McAvoy (shoulder). Lohrei is up to four goals, 28 points (13 on the power play), 62 shots on net, 76 blocked shots and a minus-15 rating through 56 appearances. He is likely to end 2024-25 in a top-four role, so he's worth a look in most fantasy formats as long as the offense is steady.

Bruins' Mason Lohrei: Collects two more helpers
Lohrei notched two assists, six shots on goal, three blocked shots and two PIM in Tuesday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Maple Leafs.
This was Lohrei's second two-assist game since the end of the 4 Nations Face-Off. Prior to the break, he was stuck in a five-game point drought. The 24-year-old blueliner is up to 27 points (12 on the power play), 55 shots on net, 75 blocked shots and a minus-15 rating through 54 appearances. His scoring upside has made him an option in fantasy this season, and he should be able to maintain a decent role since Hampus Lindholm (kneecap) is not expected to be back during the regular season.

Bruins' Mason Lohrei: Tallies two assists
Lohrei registered two helpers, took four shots on goal and had two PIM in Saturday's 3-2 loss to Anaheim.
Lohrei was the primary helper on Morgan Geekie's game-tying goal to send the game to overtime. His other helper came on the power play, where he has assumed blue line work with the man advantage after Charlie McAvoy (shoulder) was placed on injured reserve. Overall, the 24-year-old defenseman has three goals, 22 helpers, 49 shots on net and 72 blocks in 53 appearances this season. His two-point effort Saturday broke a five-game drought without points and was his first multi-point game since mid-January. While McAvoy remains out, Lohrei should continue to receive a large portion of ice time and opportunities to produce on Boston's blue line. He has fantasy value in deep leagues.

Bruins' Mason Lohrei: Poised to play
Lohrei (illness) is expected to play against Anaheim on Saturday, according to Fluto Shinzawa of The Athletic.
Despite skipping the morning skate, Lohrei will be in the lineup. He has accounted for three goals, 23 points, 45 shots on net and 71 blocked shots through 52 appearances this season. Due to the absence of Charlie McAvoy (shoulder), Lohrei could receive an increased role while seeing time on the top power-play unit.

Bruins' Mason Lohrei: Questionable Saturday
Lohrei is dealing with an illness and is questionable for Saturday's tilt versus Anaheim, according to Steve Conroy of the Boston Herald.
Lohrei has three goals and 20 assists in 52 games this season and has been a force on the power play with 10 assists. When healthy, Lohrei will take over quarterbacking the first power play as Charlie McAvoy is out of action with a shoulder injury and infection. Look for Parker Wotherspoon to enter the lineup, if Lohrei is unable to play.
