Perreault was thought to have a good chance at making the Rangers' roster out of training camp, but it was decided that he needed some time at the minor-league level. Perreault was selected 23rd overall in the 2023 NHL Draft and signed his entry-level deal in March after leaving Boston College. He managed 16 goals and 32 assists in 37 NCAA games in 2024-25. Look for Perreault to see some NHL action this season.

Perreault signed a three-year, entry-level contract with the Rangers on Monday.
Perreault had a productive sophomore season at Boston College this year, recording 16 goals and 32 assists over 37 appearances, and he's slated to join the Rangers after signing his entry-level deal. The 19-year-old was selected by the Blueshirts with the 23rd overall pick in the 2023 NHL Entry Draft, and he's expected to see some playing time in the closing weeks of the regular season, as the Rangers hope that he'll be able to provide a boost as they compete for a postseason berth.

Perreault currently leads the team with 35 points in his sophomore campaign. Drafted with the 23rd overall pick by the Rangers in 2023, the 19-year-old winger could be in contention for a spot in the NHL next year -- though another season in college might further his long-term development.
