LaCombe recorded a goal and an assist on two shots during Sunday's 6-2 preseason win over San Jose.
LaCombe put the Ducks on the board with his goal 2:57 into the first period Sunday, and he also pitched in on Beckett Sennecke's second-period goal. LaCombe appeared in all 82 regular-season games last year and generated 10 goals, 48 assists, 128 blocked shots, 74 hits and 19 PIM while averaging 24:15 of ice time.

Ducks' Jackson LaCombe: Third straight multi-point game
LaCombe notched two assists, two shots on goal, two hits and two PIM in Sunday's 4-3 overtime win over the Oilers in Game 4.
LaCombe has stepped up in the playoffs, earning a goal and seven assists over four games against the Oilers. He set up Cutter Gauthier on the power play in the second period and also helped out on Jeffrey Viel's game-tying tally in the third. LaCombe has also picked up nine shots on net, five hits, nine blocked shots and a plus-5 rating this postseason. If the Ducks dispatch the Oilers and go on a deep run, LaCombe is poised for substantial recognition on a national scale as the leader of Anaheim's blue line.

LaCombe scored an empty-net goal on four shots, added an assist, blocked two shots and went plus-3 in Friday's 7-4 win over the Oilers in Game 3.
LaCombe had a hand in Jeffrey Viel's tally with 3:03 left in the third period before adding an empty-netter 1:30 later. The 25-year-old LaCombe is shining early in the postseason with six points, seven shots on net, eight blocked shots, three hits and a plus-4 rating over three contests. He continues to work on the top pairing, so he's in a position to remain productive at both ends of the ice.

LaCombe has gotten on the scoresheet in five straight games (one goal, six assists). That includes four helpers over two playoff outings, as he's shown no trouble adjusting to postseason play so far. The 25-year-old racked up a career-best 58 points with 128 blocked shots, 157 shots on goal, 74 hits and a minus-2 rating over 82 regular-season outings in his third full campaign this year. He roofed a snap shot through traffic from the blue line and past Juuse Saros to knot the game 2-2 with 21 seconds left in the first period. LaCombe heads into the postseason on a three-game, three-point streak (one goal, two assists). His 58 points (10 goals, 48 assists) put him 16th on the scoring list for NHL defenders.

LaCombe distributed two assists and dished out three hits in Monday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Maple Leafs.
LaCombe picked up a helper on each of the Ducks' last two goals Monday, including a secondary assist on Leo Carlsson's game-tying goal in the third period. With the pair of helpers, LaCombe is up to 44 assists, 53 points, 142 shots on net, 67 hits and 121 blocked shots across 74 games this season. Since the calendar flipped to 2026, the 25-year-old defenseman has stepped up his game with at least a point in 25 of the 33 games he has played. In that span, he has 27 assists, 30 points and 52 shots on goal to go along with his strong category-coverage numbers of 31 hits and 52 blocked shots. The young blueliner has a bright future in Anaheim and should remain involved in all phases of the game, giving him strong fantasy value in most league formats.

His goal scoring is down from last year, but the 25-year-old has made modest improvements in nearly every other area to lead the Ducks' blue line.

LaCombe put up an assist Thursday in a 6-4 loss to the Maple Leafs.
It was LaCombe's 38th assist of the season. The last Ducks defenseman to record more assists in a season was Lubomir Visnovsky (50 in 2010-11). LaCombe is tied with John Carlson for 13th in NHL scoring with 46 points from the blue line. He's tied for 10th in assists with Erik Karlsson. LaCombe has already established a new career mark in points (46 in 65 games). Last season, he had 43 points in 75 games.
