Rangers' Aidan Thompson: Deemed week-to-week
Thompson (undisclosed) is considered week-to-week heading into training camp, Peter Baugh of The Athletic reports Wednesday.
Thompson was a long shot to make the Opening Night roster even prior to getting hurt. Now, the 24-year-old center will also certainly start the year with AHL Hartford once given the all-clear. Given his offensive limitations in the minors, Thompson will be hard-pressed to make his NHL debut anytime soon.
