Blue Jackets' Ivan Fedotov: Shutout in AHL Cleveland debut
Fedotov posted a 21-save shutout in AHL Cleveland's 1-0 win over Utica on Friday.
Fedotov's first game for the Monsters was a massive success. The 28-year-old was acquired by the Blue Jackets from the Flyers in September, but he wasn't able to win an NHL job in training camp. If he can put together good performances with Cleveland, he could earn a call-up later in the year, especially if one of Elvis Merzlikins or Jet Greaves is unavailable.

Blue Jackets' Ivan Fedotov: Placed on waivers
Fedotov was placed on waivers by the Blue Jackets on Friday, Mark Scheig of The Hockey Writers reports.
Fedotov was dealt to the Blue Jackets before the start of training camp and was unable to unseat Jet Greaves or Elvis Merzlikins for a spot on the roster. Fedotov will likely be sent to AHL Cleveland should he pass through waivers and be the first call-up in goal in the event that Greaves or Merzlikins suffer an injury.

Blue Jackets' Ivan Fedotov: Dealt to Columbus
Fedotov was traded to Columbus from Philadelphia on Sunday in exchange for a 2026 sixth-round pick, Jackie Spiegel of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
Fedotov posted a 6-13-4 record with a 3.15 GAA and an .880 save percentage across 26 regular-season appearances for the Flyers in 2024-25. He has one more year left on his contract, which carries a $3.275 million cap hit. Fedotov will compete for playing time in 2025-26 as part of a crowded Columbus goalie depth chart, which also includes Elvis Merzlikins (concussion) and Jet Greaves.

Flyers' Ivan Fedotov: Starting season finale
Fedotov will patrol the visiting crease in Buffalo on Thursday.
Fedotov is 6-13-4 with a 3.15 GAA and an .880 save percentage over 26 outings this season. He was highly regarded after signing near the end of the 2023-24 campaign, but he has been mediocre at the NHL level, combining for an .874 save percentage over 29 career appearances. The Sabres are 10th in NHL scoring in 2024-25, generating 3.21 goals per game.

Flyers' Ivan Fedotov: No longer starting Thursday
Fedotov will not serve as the starting netminder for Thursday's road game against Buffalo.
The Flyers initially announced Fedotov as their starting netminder for Thursday's regular-season finale, but they issued a retraction, stating that Aleksei Kolosov will instead draw the start. Flyers' Ivan Fedotov: Struggles down the stretch
Fedotov saved 21 of 25 shots in Sunday's 4-3 overtime loss to Ottawa.
Fedotov posted a clean first 30 minutes in Sunday's contest before allowing three goals in the latter half of regulation. He then surrendered the OT winner to Tim Stutzle on a power play. Fedotov now has a 6-13-4 record with an .880 save percentage and a 3.15 GAA. The 28-year-old netminder has had a rough go of things since the beginning of March, with a 1-5-1 record over eight appearances. His struggles in net are only half the story, however, as the Flyers have struggled to defend nearly all season. Fedotov is signed with the Flyers through next season and will need to turn things around to gain relevance from a fantasy perspective.

Flyers' Ivan Fedotov: Stands tall in Monday's win
Fedotov stopped 28 shots in Monday's 2-1 win over the Predators.
Zachary L'Heureux flipped home a rebound midway through the second period, but otherwise, Fedotov had an answer for everything Nashville fired his way, as he collected his first win since March 1, snapping an 0-5-0 skid. It was the 28-year-old netminder's first appearance since John Tortorella was relieved of his duties, and the renewed confidence the Flyers have been showing under interim head coach Brad Shaw seems to be shared by the team's goalies as well.

Fedotov will start at home against the Predators on Monday, Charlie O'Connor of PHLY Sports reports.
Fedotov hasn't been particularly sharp recently, going 0-5-0 with a 3.54 GAA and .858 save percentage over his last six appearances. He didn't appear in any of the Flyers' last three games but will attempt to right the ship against the Predators, who rank last in the NHL with 2.52 goals per game.

Flyers' Ivan Fedotov: Gets hook in OT loss
Fedotov gave up two goals on only three shots before being replaced by Samuel Ersson to begin the second period in Saturday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Stars.

Flyers' Ivan Fedotov: Takes tough loss Monday
Fedotov stopped 21 of 22 shots in Monday's 2-0 loss to the Lightning, with Tampa Bay's final goal getting scored into an empty net.
The Flyers couldn't solve Andrei Vasilevskiy in the other crease, leaving Nikita Kucherov's goal on a breakaway late in the first period as the winner, but Fedotov gave his squad every chance to get back in it. The 28-year-old netminder has dropped four straight decisions, but his 2.40 GAA and .905 save percentage over that stretch highlight that a lack of goal support is to blame.

Flyers' Ivan Fedotov: Drawing start against Tampa Bay
Fedotov will start Monday's road game against Tampa Bay.
Fedotov has been charged with losses in his last three appearances, going 0-3-0 with a 2.90 GAA and .890 save percentage. He'll attempt to turn things around Monday but could have trouble doing so against Tampa Bay, as the Lightning rank second in the NHL with 3.53 goals per game.

Flyers' Ivan Fedotov: Bad odor to game
Fedotov made 19 saves Tuesday in a 5-2 loss to Ottawa.
Fedotov had been playing well lately, but Tuesday was a truly rough outing, and we don't know if he can regain his recent solid streak. Fedotov allowed four goals, and the third one had a horrible odor -- so much so that cameras caught coach John Tortorella rubbing his forehead in quiet frustration. Philly has a tough stretch of games coming up with Tampa Bay (twice), Carolina, Washington, Dallas and Toronto in its path over the next two weeks. You would be wise to make Fedotov and Samuel Ersson spectators over this span.
