Tralmaks signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Oilers on Wednesday.
Tralmaks hasn't made his NHL debut yet, but he was productive with AHL Grand Rapids in 2025-26. He recorded 26 goals, 16 assists and 14 PIM across 64 regular-season appearances with Detroit's top minor-league affiliate. It wouldn't be surprising to see him spend the bulk of his time in the minors next campaign.

Tralmaks has produced 24 goals and 12 assists over 58 appearances in a bit of a breakout year with the Griffins. Red Wings' Eduards Tralmaks: Returned to AHL
Tralmarks was reassigned to AHL Grand Rapids on Thursday.
The Red Wings ultimately had 12 healthy forwards to play versus the Lightning on Thursday, so Tralmarks' emergency recall is no longer necessary. It wouldn't be surprising for him to get another look with the big club at some point before the end of the campaign.
