  • Red Wings' Lucas Raymond: Opens scoring Sunday

Raymond scored a goal on four shots and blocked three shots in Sunday's 3-2 shootout win over the Sharks. Raymond continues to enjoy the road -- he has two goals and four assists during a four-game point streak that coincides with the Red Wings' current trip out west. The 23-year-old winger opened the scoring late in the second period Sunday. He's up to four goals, 12 points, 19 shots on net, six blocked shots and a plus-4 rating through 11 appearances. Raymond's offense should remain fairly steady in a top-six role for a strong offense.

Raymond scored a goal on three shots and added a power-play assist in Friday's 5-2 loss to the Ducks. Raymond got the Red Wings on the board in the first period and set up an Alex DeBrincat tally in the second. The 23-year-old Raymond has five points over his last three games, and this was his first goal since Oct. 11 versus the Maple Leafs. For the season, the winger is at three goals, eight assists, 15 shots on net and a plus-4 rating over 10 contests. Raymond continues to see time on the top line and first power-play unit.

  • Red Wings' Lucas Raymond: Distributes pair of helpers

Raymond dished out two assists and fired two shots on net in Tuesday's 5-2 win over St. Louis. Raymond had a hand in both of the goals scored by linemate Dylan Larkin, with the latter of the two occurring against an empty net. Overall, Raymond has six assists, eight points and nine shots on goal across eight appearances this season. It's an encouraging sign to see the 23-year-old winger firing the puck on net again, as he has five shots on goal in his last three games. If he can continue to ramp up his shot volume while maintaining his ability as a playmaker, he'll remain a strong option in fantasy moving forward.

  • Red Wings' Lucas Raymond: Provides two helpers

Raymond dished out two assists and blocked a shot in Sunday's 4-2 win over the Oilers. Raymond returned to the Red Wings' lineup after missing two games with an upper-body injury. He picked up where he left off with two assists, helping both of his linemates, Dylan Larkin and Emmitt Finnie, find a goal. The 23-year-old Raymond is up to three assists and five points through four games this season. Raymond is fresh off a career year in 2024-25 after posting 53 assists and 80 points in 82 outings. While he's off to another solid start, Raymond has just four shots on net and hasn't posted one in either of his last two games. His lack of shots is something to monitor, but shouldn't be a large concern as he posted a career high of 192 a year ago. While the upper-body injury he recently recovered from could play into his lack of shot attempts, Raymond has played in all but 10 games since making his debut in the 2021-22 season and should continue to ramp up his play. With Larkin and rookie standout Finnie on his line, Raymond should push to finish above 70 points for the third straight season.

For the season, the winger has 24 goals, 70 points (33 on the power play), 161 shots on net and a minus-10 rating through 69 appearances. Raymond tallied two assists Wednesday in a 4-3 overtime loss to Team Canada at the 4 Nations Face-Off. The 22-year-old stood out all night long, and he earned the game's third star for the effort. He even threw down one his somewhat patented shot-fake to backdoor passes to Joel Eriksson Ek for the game-tying goal in the third. Raymond rode a three-game, three-point streak (11 shots) into the tournament, and he was trusted in big situations including the last two minutes of the game. This tournament could be Raymond's ascension into stardom. Or at least wide-spread awareness of his excellence. He's that good

Raymond is riding a seven-game point streak consisting of four goals and 12 points. The right-shot winger has been held off the scoresheet only once over his last 11 outings. Todd McLellan seems to have unlocked a new level to Raymond's game after taking over as head coach Dec. 27. He's above a point-per-game pace this season, something he hasn't done in his first three NHL campaigns, so he's well on his way to a career year.

The goal snapped a three-game point drought for Raymond, which was his longest dry spell of the campaign. That's incredible consistency for a 22-year-old on a Detroit club that is struggling mightily. The right-shot winger is tracking toward a career year, and he's leading the Wings in scoring with 14 goals and 34 points through 35 contests.
