Blues' Mathieu Joseph: In action versus Flyers
Joseph (lower body) will be in the lineup to face Philadelphia on Friday, Matthew DeFranks of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.
Joseph is poised to take on a third-line role alongside Pius Suter and Brayden Schenn. In his last six contests, Joseph has written himself on the scoresheet only once, but he racked up one goal and two helpers in that game. Given his inconsistencies, it wouldn't be a surprise to see Joseph serve as a healthy scratch periodically this season.

Blues' Mathieu Joseph: Ruled out against Flames
Joseph will miss Tuesday's matchup with Calgary due to a lower-body injury, Lou Korac of NHL.com reports.
Joseph responded well to being scratched against the Capitals on Nov. 5, racking up a goal and two helpers the following night versus the Sabres. Now, the 28-year-old winger finds himself on the shelf due to his lower-body problem. In his stead, Oskar Sundqvist will step into a fourth-line role while veteran Nick Bjugstad will also return to the lineup.

Blues' Mathieu Joseph: Massive three-point game in win
Joseph had a goal and two assists in Thursday's 3-0 win over the Sabres.
His goal, which came in the first period, stood as the winner. Joseph pressured Jack Quinn into a turnover at the left point on a Buffalo power play to create a breakaway. He raced in and ripped a wrist shot stick side past Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen. The points doubled Joseph's season total (two goals, four assists) in 14 games.

Blues' Mathieu Joseph: Finds twine in Monday's loss
Joseph scored a goal on two shots in Monday's 6-3 loss to the Penguins.
Joseph's first goal of the season brought the Blues within a goal in the third period, but they couldn't complete the comeback. The 28-year-old has been firmly in a middle-six role this season, earning three points, 13 shots on net, 19 hits and a minus-1 rating over nine appearances. He's averaging 12:48 of ice time, which is nearly a minute better than his 11:54 mark in the 2024-25 regular season but still well below previous years. That limited role will inhibit his ability to put up consistent offense.

Blues' Mathieu Joseph: Secures helper
Joseph picked up an assist and added three shots on goal in Monday's 5-2 win over the Canucks.
Joseph has started 2025-26 in a third-line role. He has a helper, five shots, seven hits, four blocked shots and a plus-1 rating while averaging 12:26 of ice time. There's no clear path for him to get into the top six, so his fantasy value is likely to remain limited. He had just 14 points in 60 regular-season outings last year, his lowest output since 2019-20.

Blues' Mathieu Joseph: Nets goal in loss
Joseph scored a goal on three shots, added three hits and blocked five shots in Sunday's 4-3 double-overtime loss to the Jets in Game 7.
Joseph was scratched from Game 2 to Game 5 before checking in for Friday's Game 6. He didn't do much in that contest but stayed in the lineup and made a contribution with his first-period tally Sunday to give the Blues an early 2-0 lead. The 28-year-old was in and out of the lineup all season, racking up a meager 14 points over 60 regular-season contests. He's under contract for 2025-26, but his $2.95 million cap hit didn't match his usage this year, so it's possible he'll be a trade candidate.

Blues' Mathieu Joseph: Finds helper in shootout loss
Joseph managed an assist, three hits and two PIM in Saturday's 4-3 shootout loss to the Kraken.
Joseph had been scratched in three of the previous five games before retaking a spot on the third line over Dalibor Dvorsky. The 28-year-old Joseph has a goal and three assists over his last 11 outings. For the season, the bottom-six forward is at 14 points, 68 shots on net, 121 hits, 36 blocked shots and a minus-6 rating through 59 contests. He is set to finish with his lowest point total since 2019-20, when he was limited to seven points over 37 outings with the Lightning.

Blues' Mathieu Joseph: Deposits shorthanded goal
Joseph scored a shorthanded goal on three shots, added three hits and blocked two shots in Sunday's 7-2 win over the Ducks.
Joseph's three-game assist streak from Feb. 25 to March 1 was followed by a six-game drought on offense. That came to an end Sunday in a contest where 14 of the Blues' skaters were able to record a point, though his tally late in the second period was unassisted. He's up to four goals, 11 points, 63 shots on net, 101 hits, 29 blocked shots and a minus-7 rating through 49 appearances. Joseph's first season in St. Louis has largely been disappointing, especially when contrasted with his career-best 35-point campaign from 2023-24 with the Senators.

Blues' Mathieu Joseph: Assist streak at three games
Joseph logged an assist, three hits and two blocked shots in Saturday's 4-1 win over the Kings.
Joseph has earned a helper in three straight contests and has five points over his last six games. His production has been higher than expected, given his role as a middle-six winger, but it's helped him avoid being a healthy scratch as he has at times this season. Joseph is now at 10 points, 51 shots on net, 83 hits, 24 blocked shots and a minus-6 rating across 42 appearances.

Blues' Mathieu Joseph: Lends helper in blowout win
Joseph registered an assist, two shots on goal and four hits in Tuesday's 7-2 win over the Kraken.
Joseph's 15:54 of ice time was a season high, though the Blues' big lead gave them an opportunity to spread out the playing time. The 28-year-old has mostly seen bottom-six usage in 2024-25, and it's because he hasn't forced his way higher in the lineup. He's contributed a mere eight points with 49 shots on net, 78 hits and a minus-7 rating through 40 appearances. Most fantasy managers can do better when looking for a depth forward.

Blues' Mathieu Joseph: Rare multi-point effort
Joseph scored a goal and added an assist in Saturday's 6-5 shootout win over Chicago.
Both points came in the second period as the Blues erased an early 2-0 deficit, setting up a wild finish to the game that saw five goals scored in the third frame before a 10-round shootout. It was Joseph's first multi-point performance since Oct. 19, and on the season, the bottom-six grinder has three goals, seven points, 70 hits, 46 shots on net and a minus-7 rating in 37 appearances.

Blues' Mathieu Joseph: Set to play Thursday
Joseph (illness) is expected back in the lineup versus the Panthers on Thursday, Lou Korac of NHL.com reports.
Joseph will be back in action following just one game on the shelf due to his illness. Prior to missing out, the 27-year-old winger was mired in a 29-game goal drought during which he managed just two helpers. As such, fantasy managers probably shouldn't be banking on him to offer much in the way of offensive value moving forward.

Blues' Mathieu Joseph: Contending with ailment
Joseph (illness) is doubtful to suit up for Tuesday's home game against the Oilers, Lou Korac of NHL.com reports.
Nathan Walker will slot back in on the fourth line Tuesday in place of Joseph. The 27-year-old Joseph has chipped in two goals and three assists over 35 outings this season. The Quebec native's next chance to return to the lineup will be Thursday against the Panthers.

Blues' Mathieu Joseph: Gets on scoresheet with helper
Joseph posted an assist and three shots on goal in Monday's 5-2 loss to the Canucks.
Joseph ended a 23-game point drought with the helper. He was also out of the lineup 18 times in that span, six due to a lower-body injury and the other 12 as a healthy scratch. He's now played in seven straight games after Monday's appearance, filling a bottom-six role. The 27-year-old forward has five points, 37 shots on net, 56 hits and a minus-6 rating through 33 appearances and can be passed over in most fantasy formats.

Blues' Mathieu Joseph: Playing time continues to slide
Joseph has been scratched in five of the Blues' eight games since the holiday break, including Saturday's 2-1 loss to the Blue Jackets.
The competition for bottom-six minutes in St. Louis has been tight, and Joseph hasn't differentiated himself from other players. Alexandre Texier and Zachary Bolduc have also often been scratches, and those three players appear to be competing for one spot in the lineup for now. Joseph has failed to record a point in his last 17 outings, which certainly isn't helping his cause. He has four points, 31 shots on net, 43 hits and a minus-6 rating over 26 games.

Blues' Mathieu Joseph: Filling part-time role
Joseph has played in nine of 15 games since returning from a lower-body injury Nov. 12.
Joseph has been limited to bottom-six usage with 11:25 of ice time per game since his return. He's added 10 shots on net, 17 hits and a minus-5 rating, and he hasn't picked up a point in that span. Joseph has been competing with Zachary Bolduc and Alexandre Texier for playing time lately, and none of them have much upside in redraft formats if they continue to hold down part-time roles.

Blues' Mathieu Joseph: Expected to return Tuesday
Head coach Drew Bannister said Monday that he expects Joseph (lower body) to return Tuesday against Boston, Jeremy Rutherford of The Athletic reports.
Joseph participated in Monday's practice session, and Bannister said afterward that he thought the 27-year-old looked good. Assuming Joseph continues to feel good ahead of Tuesday's matchup, he'll likely be able to put an end to his six-game absence due to a lower-body injury. Over nine appearances this year, he's tallied two goals, four points, 13 hits and five blocked shots while averaging 13:05 of ice time.

Blues' Mathieu Joseph: Not skating yet
Joseph (lower body) hasn't resumed skating and remains unavailable to play, head coach Drew Bannister told Lou Korac of NHL.com on Monday.
Joseph has missed the last three games, and it's unclear when he will be available to return to the lineup. He is status quo, so consider him out indefinitely until he is back skating with the Blues. Joseph has two goals, two assists, 14 shots on net and 13 hits through nine appearances this season.

Blues' Mathieu Joseph: Being evaluated after injury
Joseph is returning to St. Louis to be evaluated for a lower-body injury, according to TSN 1200 Ottawa.
Joseph will miss Tuesday's game versus the Senators -- Nathan Walker or Kasperi Kapanen are candidates to draw into the lineup as a result. Joseph has chipped in two goals and two assists through nine appearances while filling a bottom-six role. The Blues play again Thursday, so another update on Joseph's status could come before then.

Blues' Mathieu Joseph: Contributes helper in loss
Joseph logged an assist, two shots on goal and three hits in Saturday's 5-2 loss to the Canadiens.
Joseph set up Colton Parayko's goal in the second period. The 27-year-old Joseph has filled a third-line role for much of the season, earning four points, 14 shots on net, 13 hits, five blocked shots and four PIM over nine contests. He's a little bit of a power winger, though his scoring output has him on the fringe of being an option for fantasy managers in deeper formats.
