Aho scored a goal on three shots in Saturday's 3-2 loss to the Stars.
Aho has scored in three straight games, and he's yet to miss the scoresheet through eight contests this season. The 28-year-old is at four goals, six assists, 19 shots on net, 14 hits and a plus-2 rating. There aren't many forwards more consistent than Aho, and his early chemistry with Nikolaj Ehlers and Seth Jarvis has been a bright spot for the injury-riddled Hurricanes.

Hurricanes' Sebastian Aho: Scores again Thursday
Aho scored a goal, added two PIM and logged three hits in Thursday's 5-4 shootout win over the Avalanche.
Aho continues to be reliable to start 2025-26. He's on a seven-game point streak to begin the year, earning three goals and six helpers so far. The 28-year-old center also has 16 shots on net, 13 hits, four blocked shots and a plus-2 rating. Aho and Seth Jarvis have incredible chemistry on the Hurricanes' top line, and both figure to be consistent contributors throughout the campaign.

Hurricanes' Sebastian Aho: Nets goal Monday
Aho scored a goal, took three shots and recorded two hits in Monday's 4-1 loss to the Golden Knights.
Aho has been sensational for the Hurricanes so far this season. This might have been only his second goal, with both coming in the team's last three games, but he's on a six-game point streak. The 28-year-old playmaker has eight points during that streak, and he should continue to be a driving force on offense for Carolina as long as he stays healthy. He also has 15 shots, 10 hits and three blocked shots in that six-game stretch.

Hurricanes' Sebastian Aho: One of each Thursday
Aho scored a goal on two shots, dished an assist, added two PIM and went plus-2 in Thursday's 4-1 win over the Ducks.
Aho's points came in the third period, as he set up an Alexander Nikishin goal early in the frame before scoring one of his own with 4:12 left in the contest. The goal was Aho's first of the season to go with five assists, nine shots on net, four hits and a plus-2 rating through four games. The top-line center is among the most consistent players in the league and should hover around a point-per-game pace or better in 2025-26.

Hurricanes' Sebastian Aho: Bags two apples in season opener
Aho generated two primary assists, including one on the power play, in 21:39 of ice time during Thursday's 6-3 win over New Jersey.
Both of Aho's helpers came in the final frame, as he set up goals by K'Andre Miller and Seth Jarvis, the latter of which ended up being the game-winner. The 28-year-old Aho could be in line for his best season yet, as he's being flanked by free-agent addition Nikolaj Ehlers, along with Seth Jarvis, on the top line. Aho also managed 4:51 of ice time with the man advantage Thursday, so he should have plenty of opportunities to rack up points in 2025-26.

Hurricanes' Sebastian Aho: Scores twice in season-ending loss
Aho scored two goals on three shots and added two hits in Wednesday's 5-3 loss to the Panthers in Game 5.
Aho cashed in twice off of turnovers in the first period, giving the Hurricanes some belief they could keep their season going. The Panthers then squashed that hope over the final 40 minutes. Aho put up seven goals, 15 points, 41 shots on net, 45 hits and a plus-3 rating over 15 playoff outings. He's signed through 2031-32, so look for the 27-year-old to once again center the Hurricanes' top line next season.

Hurricanes' Sebastian Aho: Nabs power-play helper
Aho recorded a power-play assist, two shots on goal, two PIM and a minus-3 rating in Saturday's 6-2 loss to the Panthers in Game 3.
Aho hasn't gotten on the scoresheet in consecutive contests since his four-game streak to end the first round. The 27-year-old is up to four goals, eight assists, seven power-play points, 31 shots on net, 42 hits, 10 blocked shots and a plus-1 rating over 13 playoff contests. The Hurricanes are facing a 3-0 series deficit heading into Monday's Game 4, and if Aho doesn't pick up the pace on offense, they'll see their playoff run come to an end.

Hurricanes' Sebastian Aho: Franchise playoff PP-point leader
Aho picked up an assist in Thursday's 3-1 loss to the Capitals in Game 2.
It was his 21st career postseason power-play point, passing Rod Brind'Amour (20) and Eric Staal (20) for the most in franchise history. Aho's nine points (three goals, six assists) lead the Canes this postseason.

Hurricanes' Sebastian Aho: Back at practice
Aho (personal) participated in Saturday's practice after missing Friday's session, Walt Ruff of the Hurricanes' official site reports.
Aho returned to the top line during Saturday's practice, and he will be ready for Game 1 against Washington on Tuesday in the second round of the playoffs. Aho has three goals and eight points through five outings this postseason after producing 29 tallies and 45 assists across 79 appearances during the 2024-25 regular season.

Aho will miss practice Friday while dealing with a personal matter.
Aho's absence hopefully won't impact his availability for Game 1 of the second-round series against the Capitals -- which will likely start Sunday or Monday. If the center were to miss any game time, it would likely fall to Jesperi Kotkaniemi to move into the first-line center role. Aho has been stellar in the postseason, racking up three goals and five helpers in the five games against the Devils.

Aho scored two power-play goals, one the game-winner, and added an even-strength assist Tuesday in the Hurricanes' 5-4 double-overtime victory over the Devils in Game 5 of their first-round series.
The 27-year-old tied the score at 4-4 with his first tally midway through the second period, then ended the night, and the series, with a one-timer from the faceoff circle past Jacob Markstrom early in the second OT. Aho has reeled off three straight multi-point performances, and he'll head into the second round with three goals and eight points through five games this postseason.
