Rangers' Artemi Panarin: Picks up assist Saturday
Panarin dished out an assist and put six shots on goal in Saturday's 2-1 shootout win over Columbus.
Panarin had a hand in the power-play goal scored by Mika Zibanejad early in the second period. With each passing game, Panarin continues to put his early-season struggles in the rear-view mirror. While he has been kept off the scoresheet in 11 of his 19 games so far this season, the 34-year-old winger has 10 points in his last five contests and 17 points overall. After scoring 89 points or more in each of the past four regular seasons, Panarin is starting to return to his customary level of production.

Rangers' Artemi Panarin: Four helpers in Wednesday's win
Panarin notched four assists, one on the power play, in Wednesday's 7-3 win over the Lightning.
He had at least one helper in every period as the Rangers erupted for their biggest offensive outburst of the season to date. Panarin has multi-point performances in three of the last four games, a stretch in which he's delivered three goals and nine points on the heels of a six-game point drought. The 34-year-old has been as inconsistent as his team as a whole so far in 2025-26, but Panarin still has a solid five goals and 16 points through 18 contests, and he appears to be in the early stages of a heater.

Rangers' Artemi Panarin: Lights lamp twice in Monday's win
Panarin scored two goals, one the game-winner, in Monday's 6-3 victory over Nashville.
The veteran blasted a one-timer past Juuse Saros from the blue line in the second period to give the Rangers a 4-1 lead, then cheekily bounced the puck in off Justus Annunen's skate from below the goal line in the third for New York's final tally of the night. Panarin has multiple points in two of the last three games, but those are his only points in the last nine contests as his struggles have mirrored those of the team as a whole. Through 17 games on the season, Panarin has managed a disappointing five goals and 12 points, but he may be heating up.

Panarin recorded a goal and two assists, including one on the power play, in Friday's 4-1 win over the Red Wings.
Panarin ended his six-game point drought in style by having a hand in three of the Rangers' four goals. The 33-year-old found some open ice just 57 seconds into the first period and snapped the puck past Filip Gustavsson, but the Rangers' offense then went cold once again for the remaining 59 minutes. Head coach Mike Sullivan said Monday that Panarin (lower body) is good to go for Tuesday's Opening Night matchup against the Penguins, Mollie Walker of the New York Post reports.
Panarin was sidelined for the conclusion of preseason action due to an upper-body injury, but he'll be back in action for the start of the regular season. The 33-year-old made 80 regular-season appearances for the Rangers last year, recording 37 goals, 52 assists, 18 hits, 16 PIM and 11 blocked shots while averaging 19:41 of ice time.

Panarin left Friday's practice because of a lower-body injury, Peter Baugh of The Athletic reports.
The severity of Panarin's injury isn't known yet, but even if it's minor, the Rangers will probably exercise an abundance of caution given that we're early in training camp. The 33-year-old had 37 goals and 89 points in 80 appearances with the Rangers last year. He's missed just two regular-season games over the past three campaigns.
