Top Artemi Panarin News

  • Kings' Artemi Panarin: Extends lead Thursday

Panarin scored a goal on four shots in Thursday's 4-0 win over the Canucks.

Panarin scored in the final minute of the second period, likely putting a pin in any comeback effort the Canucks could have attempted. The 34-year-old winger saw his six-game point streak end Tuesday versus the Flames, but he continues to deliver in a top-line role for the Kings. He has 18 points in 16 games since he was traded to Los Angeles, giving him 26 goals, 49 assists, 204 shots on net and a minus-10 rating over 68 appearances this season.

  • Kings' Artemi Panarin: Forces overtime Sunday

Panarin scored a goal on four shots in Sunday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Mammoth.

Panarin extended his point streak to six games (four goals, five assists) with the tally, which tied the game at 16:30 of the third period. The 34-year-old is up to 25 goals, 74 points, 197 shots on net and a minus-11 rating over 66 outings between the Kings and Rangers, with 17 of those points coming across 14 games with Los Angeles. Panarin is a must-start option in fantasy even as the Kings continue to have a middling offense.

  • Kings' Artemi Panarin: Scores power-play goal in loss

Panarin scored a power-play goal on three shots and went minus-2 in Saturday's 4-1 loss to the Sabres.

Panarin opened the scoring at 10:48 of the first period, but the Kings didn't solve Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen a second time. With three goals and five assists during a five-game point streak, Panarin is doing his part on offense. He's up to 24 goals, 73 points (22 on the power play), 193 shots on net and a minus-11 rating over 65 outings between the Kings and the Rangers this season.

  • Kings' Artemi Panarin: Contributes two points

Panarin scored a power-play goal on four shots, dished an assist and added two PIM in Thursday's 4-3 shootout loss to the Flyers.

Panarin has four goals and eight assists over nine outings in March. The 34-year-old winger is up to 15 points over 12 contests with the Kings. Accounting for his time with the Rangers to start the year, Panarin has 23 goals, 49 assists, 190 shots on net and a minus-9 rating across 64 appearances. He's been a great fit on the Kings' top line and should continue to help fantasy managers down the stretch.

  • Kings' Artemi Panarin: Picks up trio of points

Panarin tallied a goal, registered two power-play assists and placed two shots on net in Saturday's 6-4 loss to New Jersey.

Panarin was a part of history Saturday, as he slid the primary helper on Anze Kopitar's 1,308th career regular-season point to set the Kings' franchise record. Panarin's trio of points brought him up to 22 goals, 47 assists and 184 shots on net across 62 games this season. The 34-year-old's move to Los Angeles has gotten off to a strong start, as he has nine assists, 12 points and 26 shots on net across 10 games since being traded by the Rangers. As the Kings make a push for a playoff spot in the Pacific Division, Panarin is set to operate at the heart of the offense and holds elite fantasy value for the remainder of the regular season.

  • Kings' Artemi Panarin: Shines against former club

Panarin scored a goal and added an assist in Monday's 5-4 overtime win over the Blue Jackets.

Facing the team he spent two seasons with prior to signing with the Rangers, Panarin scored his own tally late in the first period before finding a wide-open Adrian Kempe coming over the boards on a change in OT to set up the game-winner. Panarin has racked up two goals and eight points in seven games since being traded to the Kings, and he'll likely need to stay hot if his new club is going to climb back into a playoff spot.

  • Kings' Artemi Panarin: One of each in win

Panarin scored a goal on two shots, added a power-play assist and went plus-3 in Thursday's 5-3 win over the Islanders.

The goal 3:17 into the game was Panarin's first as a King. He's earned five points in five contests with his new team since he was traded from the Rangers. For the season, Panarin has 20 goals, 62 points, 169 shots on net and a minus-14 rating across 57 appearances. Panarin has claimed a top-line role as expected and should perform at a point-per-game pace at a minimum.

  • Kings' Artemi Panarin: Two assists in team debut

Panarin notched two assists, three shots on goal and two PIM in Wednesday's 6-4 loss to the Golden Knights.

Panarin set up Quinton Byfield on the power play in the first period and also helped out on an Adrian Kempe tally in the second. This was Panarin's debut for the Kings, which came after a Feb. 4 trade and subsequent two-year contract extension. The Kings don't score a lot, but they're at least in the middle of a playoff race, so that could give Panarin a little extra motivation. He's earned 59 points (18 on the power play), 161 shots on net and a minus-16 rating over 53 appearances this season when accounting for his time with the Rangers.

  • Kings' Artemi Panarin: Set for Kings' debut

Panarin (not injury related) was working on a line with Alex Laferriere and Adrian Kempe ahead of Wednesday's clash with Vegas, Zach Dooley of the Kings' official site reports.

In addition to his top-six role, Panarin figures to link up with the No. 1 power-play as he makes his team debut versus the Golden Knights. In 52 games with the Rangers this year, the veteran winger notched 19 goals and 38 helpers, including 17 power-play points. Unless Panarin goes on a tear, he could miss the 35-goal mark for the first time since 2022-23.

  • Kings' Artemi Panarin: Will join team during break

Panarin (not injury related) will link up with the Kings on Feb. 18 to prepare for the post-Olympics part of the schedule, John Hoven of SiriusXM NHL Network Radio reports.

Panarin won't play Wednesday versus the Kraken or Thursday versus the Golden Knights. He will more than likely make his Kings debut Feb. 25 versus the Golden Knights. Panarin was traded from the Rangers and signed a two-year, $22 million extension with Los Angeles on Wednesday, and he'll take on a top-six role once he makes his debut.

  • Kings' Artemi Panarin: Inks two-year extension

Panarin (not injury related) signed a two-year, $22 million contract extension with the Kings on Wednesday, per Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet.

Los Angeles acquired Panarin from the Rangers on Wednesday in exchange for Liam Greentree and a conditional 2026 third-round pick. Panarin is in the final season of a seven-year, $81.5 million contract, and the Rangers will retain 50 percent of his remaining cap hit as part of the trade. The third-round pick New York received will become a second-rounder if the Kings win at least one playoff series this year. If LA wins at least two postseason series this year, then the Rangers will also get a 2028 fourth-round selection. Panarin is unlikely to make his Kings debut versus Seattle on Wednesday, but he might play Thursday in Vegas.

  • Kings' Artemi Panarin: Flipped in trade

Panarin was traded to the Kings on Wednesday in exchange for Liam Greentree and a conditional third-round pick, Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet reports.

Panarin needs just one more tally to reach the 20-goal threshold for a fifth straight regular season and the 10th time in his NHL career. With his move to Kings, the veteran winger should immediately slot into a first-line role while also linking up with the No. 1 power-play unit. On a more competitive team than the Rangers, Panarin might still have enough time to challenge for the 40-goal mark, though he'll face an uphill battle.

  • Rangers' Artemi Panarin: Being held out Wednesday

Panarin (not injury related) won't play Wednesday versus the Islanders for roster-management reasons, Mollie Walker of the New York Post reports.

Panarin is also not expected to play before the Olympic break. In reality, this likely spells the end of Panarin's time as a Ranger, as the team has already committed to not having him beyond this season. A potential trade destination is unclear, but a new contract extension could be part of the star forward signing off on any move, Chris Johnston of The Athletic reports. Panarin has 19 goals and 57 points over 52 appearances this season. Fantasy managers will need to pivot to a secondary plan until a resolution to Panarin's situation arrives.

  • Rangers' Artemi Panarin: Point streak reaches 10 games

Panarin recorded a power-play goal and a power-play assist in Monday's 5-3 loss to the Ducks.

Panarin has been on a hot streak of late, and this was his 10th consecutive game with at least one point -- and the sixth over that stretch with multiple goal contributions. With 18 points (five goals, 13 assists) in that span, it'd be fair to consider Panarin one of the most productive wingers in the league since the calendar flipped to 2026.

  • Rangers' Artemi Panarin: Nine-game, 16-point scoring streak

Panarin had two goals and an assist in a 6-3 win over Philadelphia on Saturday.

He played in his 800th NHL game, including his 478th with the Rangers. Panarin's assist on Mika Zibanejad's second goal was his 400th with the Rangers. He has 16 points (four goals, 12 assists) during a nine-game point streak. Overall, Panarin has 54 points (18 goals, 36 assists) and 147 shots on net in 48 games this season. He has one goal and 15 assists on the power play. Panarin sits in a tie with Nick Suzuki of Montreal for 14th in league scoring.

Panarin notched two assists in Thursday's 5-2 loss to the Sabres.

The star winger had a hand in tallies by Mika Zibanejad in the second period and Vincent Trocheck in the third. Panarin has reeled off four straight multi-point performances, erupting for two goals and nine points during that span, and on the season he's produced 16 goals and 48 points in 44 contests.
