  • Panthers' Sam Reinhart: Slated to sit out rest of season

Reinhart (foot) is expected to miss the remainder of the 2025-26 season, according to Jameson Olive of the Panthers' official site on Tuesday. The Panthers have been dealing with a slew of injuries, and Reinhart is one of several players who will likely be shut down for the rest of this year. The goal-scoring winger will conclude the 2025-26 campaign with 29 markers, including six game-winners, 61 points (25 on the power play), 166 shots and a minus-18 rating over 64 appearances. While it's not currently known how his recovery process is going, Reinhart should have more than enough time to be ready for the start of training camp in September ahead of the 2026-27 season.

  • Panthers' Sam Reinhart: Still sidelined Thursday

Reinhart (foot) won't play Thursday versus the Wild, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports. Reinhart is set to miss his sixth straight game while battling a number of issues, including a foot problem. Given the Panthers' place in the standings, there will be no rush to get Reinhart back in action, and he continues to lack a timeline for his return. The Panthers play a back-to-back versus the Islanders and Rangers over the weekend, and it's unclear if Reinhart will be available for either of those games.

Reinhart (foot) won't play against Seattle on Tuesday, per George Richards of Florida Hockey Now. Head coach Paul Maurice mentioned a week ago that Reinhart has been dealing with a few problems. Richards, who also writes for NHL.com, confirmed Tuesday that one of those issues is a foot injury. Reinhart will miss his fifth straight game, and it remains unclear when he will be available to return. He has amassed 29 goals, 61 points, 166 shots on net and 59 hits across 64 appearances this season.

Reinhart (undisclosed) will not travel with the team for its upcoming four-game road trip, George Richards of Florida Hockey Now reports. Reinhart missed his first game of the season in Tuesday's 4-3 win over Detroit, but he returned to action against Columbus on Thursday and scored the game-winner in overtime. The Panthers open a four-game road trip in Seattle on Sunday before playing three games in Western Canada. Reinhart has 29 goals and 32 assists across 64 games this season. It's unclear if he will be ready to return to the lineup when the Panthers host the Kraken on March 24.

  • Panthers' Sam Reinhart: Overtime hero Thursday

Reinhart scored the overtime winner and added an assist, both on the power play, in Thursday's 2-1 victory over Columbus. The Panthers' special teams proved to be the difference in a goaltending duel between Sergei Bobrovsky and Elvis Merzlikins, with Reinhart snapping the puck past a scrambling Merzlikins from the side of the net. Reinhart hasn't gone consecutive games without getting onto the scoresheet since mid-January, and that consistency has earned him five goals and 14 points over his last 15 contests. The veteran winger needs one more goal to reach 30 for a fifth straight season.

  • Panthers' Sam Reinhart: Tallies in Sunday's loss

Reinhart scored a goal on four shots in Sunday's 5-4 loss to the Islanders. Reinhart had gone six games without a goal, collecting four assists in that span. The 30-year-old's tally tied the game at 4-4 with 1:58 left in the third period, but Anders Lee answered it with 32 seconds left in the frame. Reinhart is now at 28 goals, 57 points, 156 shots on net, 58 hits, 39 blocked shots and a minus-16 rating over 60 appearances. He should continue to hover near a point-per-game pace, and he has the talent and the usage to jump over that threshold if he finishes the year strong.

  • Panthers' Sam Reinhart: Continues to carry kitties

Reinhart dished two assists Monday in a 5-3 loss to Buffalo. Reinhart is all but dragging the Panthers this season, and now he's the last man standing with Sam Bennett leaving with an upper-body injury Monday. The kitties are already without Aleksander Barkov (knee), Brad Marchand (undisclosed) and Anton Lundell (upper body). Reinhart has still managed 54 points (27 goals, 27 helpers) and 144 shots in 55 games this season. There's no rest for the weary, either, as Reinhart heads to Milano Cortina later this week to play for Canada at the Olympics.

  • Panthers' Sam Reinhart: Two points Thursday

Reinhart scored a power-play goal and added a power-play assist in Thursday's 5-4 loss to the Blues. Reinhart went pointless in the 4-3 loss to Utah on Jan. 27, but he bounced back with his third multi-point performance since the beginning of January. Reinhart has struggled with consistency at times, and his numbers have been trending downward lately. Despite averaging over 22 minutes of ice time in 14 appearances this month, he's been limited to only nine points (five goals, four assists).

  • Panthers' Sam Reinhart: Deposits empty-netter

Reinhart scored an empty-net goal on two shots and went plus-2 in Sunday's 5-1 win over the Blackhawks. Reinhart scored for the second game in a row, stretching the Panthers' lead to 4-1 late in the third period. The 30-year-old is up to 26 goals, 50 points, 132 shots on net, 49 hits, 31 blocked shots and a minus-10 rating over 51 appearances. He's hovering just under a point-per-game pace, so he's still within range of matching his totals of 39 goals and 81 points from 79 regular-season contests in 2024-25.

  • Panthers' Sam Reinhart: Chips in two helpers Saturday

Reinhart distributed two assists and put four shots on net in Saturday's 5-2 win over the Capitals. Reinhart played a hand in consecutive goals for the Panthers, including Uvis Balinskis' game-winning tally on a second-period power play. Reinhart is up to 23 assists, 47 points, 127 shots on net, 46 hits and 28 blocks through 47 games this season. The pair of points bring the 30-year-old winger back up to a point-per-game pace for a third consecutive regular season.

  • Panthers' Sam Reinhart: Opens scoring on power play

Reinhart scored a goal and fired seven shots on net in Monday's 4-3 win over Buffalo. Reinhart ended a four-game scoring drought when his power-play goal less than three minutes into Monday's contest gave the Panthers an early 1-0 lead. The marker brought the 30-year-old winger up to 24 goals, 45 points, 123 shots on net, 45 hits and 28 blocks through 45 games this season. Despite the recent cold stretch, he has maintained above a point-per-game pace since the start of December with 22 points in 21 games. While he likely can't afford to go on a quiet stretch offensively if the Panthers are to start pushing for a playoff spot in the Atlantic Division, Reinhart has displayed incredible stretches of consistency throughout his career. He should challenge for the 80-point threshold this campaign, which would be his third consecutive regular season reaching that mark.

  • Panthers' Sam Reinhart: Extends point streak to six games

Reinhart scored a goal on five shots and added two hits in Tuesday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Canadiens. Reinhart has five goals and six assists during his six-game point streak. His tally briefly put the Panthers ahead 2-0, but goals by Cole Caufield and Nick Suzuki sent the game to overtime, where Suzuki scored again to complete the Canadiens' late comeback. Despite the loss, Reinhart continues to surge as the Panthers' top overall player. He has 22 goals, 21 assists, 104 shots on net, 35 hits, 26 blocked shots and a minus-6 rating over 39 appearances this season. After missing the 40-goal mark by one in the 2024-25 regular season, he has a good chance to get back to that level this year.

  • Panthers' Sam Reinhart: Three points against Caps

Reinhart scored two goals, one on the power play, and added an even-strength assist in Monday's 5-3 win over Washington. The veteran winger tickled twine in the first and third periods, with the latter being an empty-netter, but Reinhart's biggest contribution came in between when he found Aaron Ekblad for the game-winner midway through the final frame. Reinhart has been red hot to close out the calendar year, racking up six multi-point performances in the last 11 games with seven goals and 17 points over that stretch. Monday's tallies were also his 20th and 21st of the campaign, and Reinhart's now reached the 20-goal plateau in nine straight seasons.

  • Panthers' Sam Reinhart: Three helpers in comeback win

Reinhart notched three assists, one on the power play, in Tuesday's 5-2 win over the Hurricanes. The Panthers were down 2-0 heading into the third period before Reinhart's fourth three-point performance of 2025-26 led the comeback charge. The veteran winger is on pace to top 80 points for a third straight season and 30 goals for his fifth consecutive campaign. He has produced 19 goals and 38 points through 36 contests this year.

  • Panthers' Sam Reinhart: Scores PP goal Saturday

Reinhart scored a power-play goal in Saturday's 6-2 loss to the Blues. Reinhart has been one of the Panthers' most productive players in recent weeks. The 30-year-old veteran has cracked the scoresheet in seven of his last nine outings, tallying five goals and 11 points over that stretch. His steady role as a first-line forward in both even-strength and power-play situations should give him plenty of opportunities to keep producing.
