  • Lightning's Darren Raddysh: Breakout season rolls along

Raddysh scored a goal and added two assists in a 6-3 win over the Wild on Tuesday. The goal and one assist came on the power play; the goal was his 20th of the season. There are few superlatives strong enough to describe Raddysh's breakout season. The sniping is likely an anomaly given his inflated 11.1 shooting percentage, which is double his 2024-25 regular season mark of 5.6. All the same, his confidence is soaring, and you need to ride Raddysh's success through your postseason. He has three goals and three assists in his last four games (20 shots). He has 180 shots, 62 hits and 60 blocks in 63 games this season, and half of his goals (10) and 25 of his points have come with the man advantage. Raddysh's 20 goals puts him into a tie with Dan Boyle (2006-07) and Victor Hedman (2021-22) for the team record from a defender.

  • Lightning's Darren Raddysh: Finds twine in overtime loss

Raddysh scored a goal on five shots in Sunday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Flames. Raddysh had three points over four contests during the Lightning's road trip out west. The defenseman is up to 19 goals, 61 points, 175 shots on net, 61 hits, 59 blocked shots and a plus-23 rating over 62 appearances this season. Raddysh continues to impress in a top-pairing role and has become the team's most reliable blueliner on offense after a down year for Victor Hedman (illness).

  • Lightning's Darren Raddysh: Goal, assist in win

Raddysh scored a goal on seven shots, added an assist and went plus-2 in Thursday's 6-2 win over the Canucks. Raddysh ended a four-game point drought, and the goal was his first since Feb. 3 versus the Sabres. The 30-year-old defenseman continues to be one of the biggest bright spots on the blue line in the NHL this season. He's up to 18 goals, 60 points, 167 shots on net, 61 hits, 58 blocked shots and a plus-23 rating through 60 appearances. Raddysh has earned 23 of his points with the man advantage, which has played a large role in his career year.

  • Lightning's Darren Raddysh: Set to return

Raddysh (personal) is expected to play Thursday versus the Red Wings, Benjamin Pierce of the Lightning's official site reports. Raddysh missed Tuesday's game while attending his father's memorial service, but he has rejoined the Lightning. Look for Raddysh to fill a top-pairing role with power-play time moving forward.

  • Lightning's Darren Raddysh: Missing Tuesday's game

Raddysh (personal) is unavailable for Tuesday's home matchup against the Blue Jackets, Benjamin Pierce of the Lightning's official site reports. Raddysh is with his family Tuesday to attend the memorial service for his father, Dwayne. It will be the first game Raddysh has missed since Nov. 4. Victor Hedman skated with the No. 1 power-play unit during Tuesday's morning skate, while Charle-Edouard D'Astous worked with the second group, per Pierce. Tampa Bay's next game is at home against Detroit on Thursday.

  • Lightning's Darren Raddysh: Five-game goal streak

Raddysh scored a goal and added an assist in Tuesday's 4-3 overtime win over Buffalo. Raddysh is on a five-game goal streak (four assists), and he has 21 shots in that span. Three of his goals came on the power play. Raddysh has gone full beast mode this season, and we hope he never wakes up from this dream. He has 17 goals, 34 assists, a plus-16 rating, 127 shots and 19 power-play points (nine goals) in just 48 games. Raddysh has also been supremely clutch -- he has five game-winning goals this season.

  • Lightning's Darren Raddysh: Another power-play goal

Raddysh scored a power-play goal in Monday's 2-0 win over Utah. Raddysh broke the deadlock with a slap shot at the 17:38 mark of the second period. He's having an outstanding season in 2025-26 and is already up to 14 goals, with eight of those coming with the man advantage. Raddysh has established a new career-best mark in points with 44 (14 goals, 30 helpers) across 45 contests this season, so he should be rostered across all formats going forward.

  • Lightning's Darren Raddysh: Continues breakout campaign

Raddysh tallied a power-play goal in Saturday's 8-5 loss to the Blue Jackets. It was Raddysh's first goal in nine games, and his 13th this season. He has amassed 43 points (13 goals, 30 assists) and 109 shots on net through 44 games in 2025-26. It has been an incredible breakout showing for the undrafted 29-year-old defender, who had a career-high 37 points in 73 regular-season outings a year ago.

  • Lightning's Darren Raddysh: Record book night with hattie

Raddysh scored a hat trick Saturday in a 7-3 win over San Jose. It was Raddysh's first NHL hattie, and he became the third defenseman in franchise history to accomplish the feat, joining Dan Boyle (Dec. 23, 2006) and Doug Crossman (Nov. 7, 1992). Remarkably, he and brother Taylor Raddysh (Oct. 23, 2025) became the first set of brothers to each score a hat trick against the same team in more than 40 years when Quebec Nordiques teammates Marian (Oct. 21, 1982) and Peter Stastny (Dec. 11, 1982) did it against the Penguins. "It's pretty special," Raddysh said after the game. "This organization has a lot of unbelievable players come through there, through their time, and you know, to be a part of this is something special. And I don't take (it) too lightly."

  • Lightning's Darren Raddysh: Two points including OT winner

Raddysh scored the game-winning goal and added an assist in Wednesday's 4-3 overtime victory over the Ducks. After helping to set up a J.J. Moser tally in the first period, Raddysh banged home a feed from Brandon Hagel in OT to end things. The 29-year-old blueliner continues to shine while Victor Hedman (elbow) is on the shelf, and Raddysh racked up six goals and 13 points in 14 December contests while adding 38 shots on net, 19 hits, 13 blocked shots, eight PIM and a plus-6 rating to his ledger.

  • Lightning's Darren Raddysh: Erupts for three points Monday

Raddysh scored the game-winning goal on the power play and added two assists in Monday's 4-1 win over the Blues. The 29-year-old blueliner reached 100 regular-season points in his career in the process, as he continues surging toward a career-best campaign. Since Victor Hedman (elbow) was placed back on IR, Raddysh has racked up three goals and seven points in six games, and on the season, he's already set a new personal best with eight goals, and he's tied his career high with nine power-play points (four goals, five helpers).

  • Lightning's Darren Raddysh: Three-game goal streak

Raddysh scored a power-play goal Saturday in a 3-2 shootout loss to the Islanders. Raddysh one-timed a point shot past Ilya Sorokin in the second period to cut the score to 2-1. His goal streak stands at three games and four goals (one assist). Two of the goals have come with the man advantage. Raddysh continues to excel in the number one role on the blue line in Victor Hedman's (undisclosed) absence.

  • Lightning's Darren Raddysh: Skipping practice Monday

Raddysh will not be in attendance for Monday's practice for personal reasons, Lightning reporter Gabby Shirley reports. For now, Raddysh should be considered a game-time decision ahead of Tuesday's contest versus the Islanders. The blueliner has been red hot of late, racking up two goals and 11 helpers in his last eight contests, including four power-play points. The Bolts haven't called up an extra defenseman from the minors yet, which is a good sign that Raddysh will be back with the team to face New York.

  • Lightning's Darren Raddysh: Second straight three-point game

Raddysh delivered three assists in Saturday's 4-1 win over the Rangers. He also had five shots Saturday. Raddysh has two consecutive three-point games, and his point streak sits at three games and seven points, including six assists. • Lightning's Darren Raddysh: Ten points in last seven games

Raddysh had a goal and two assists in a 6-3 victory over Detroit on Friday. The goal came on the power play. Raddysh has 10 points (two goals, eight assists) in his past seven games. He has really stepped into the void created by injuries to Victor Hedman (undisclosed) and Ryan McDonagh (undisclosed). Raddysh is a worthy addition while those two are out.

  • Lightning's Darren Raddysh: Posts trio of points

Raddysh potted a goal, tallied two assists, placed two shots on net and picked up two PIM in Tuesday's 5-1 win over New Jersey. After grabbing an assist in his previous outing, Raddysh posted his best offensive performance of the season with a goal in the third period alongside two power-play assists. The 29-year-old blueliner is up to two goals, five assists and 25 shots on net in 13 games this season. He has stepped up in the absence of Victor Hedman (undisclosed), averaging 22:19 per game and over four minutes of power-play time without the team captain in the lineup. With Hedman's timetable still unknown, Raddysh is a strong streaming option in fantasy across most formats.

  • Lightning's Darren Raddysh: Didn't travel with team

Raddysh stayed back in Tampa Bay for the birth of his child and will miss Tuesday's matchup with Nashville, Eduardo A. Encina of the Tampa Bay Times reports. Raddysh figures to be back in the lineup when the Bolts return home to face the Stars on Thursday, though that hasn't been officially confirmed. The team went with seven blueliners in their most recent contests, but without Raddysh available, the Lightning will likely reinsert forward Curtis Douglas into the lineup.

  • Lightning's Darren Raddysh: Nets power-play marker

Raddysh scored a power-play goal and went plus-2 in Tuesday's 5-1 win over the Panthers. Raddysh provided the Lightning's last goal midway through the third period. The 29-year-old was able to avoid an absence after sustaining an undisclosed injury Sunday versus the Sabres. Raddysh has two points over the last three games and is up to six goals, 37 points (nine on the power play), 105 shots on net, 67 blocked shots and a plus-11 rating over 72 appearances.

  • Lightning's Darren Raddysh: Departs Sunday's game

Raddysh (undisclosed) did not play in the third period of Sunday's 7-4 win over Buffalo, and head coach Jon Cooper did not have an update on his status after the game, Benjamin Pierce of the Lightning's official site reports. Raddysh logged 9:06 of ice time prior to exiting in the second period. The Lightning went with 11 forwards and seven defensemen Sunday due to a few injuries up front, so they'll need to promote someone from AHL Syracuse if Raddysh is forced to miss any time. The 29-year-old should be considered day-to-day ahead of Tuesday's potential preview of a first-round playoff matchup against the Panthers.

  • Lightning's Darren Raddysh: Manages assist Friday

Raddysh logged an assist in Friday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Red Wings. Raddysh ended a four-game point drought with the helper on Anthony Cirelli's tally 1:01 into the contest. The Lightning have stuck with seven defensemen late in the season, allowing Raddysh to stay in the lineup. The 29-year-old has produced 36 points, 104 shots on net, 66 blocked shots, 37 hits and a plus-9 rating over 70 appearances.
