Jets' Eric Comrie: Yields six goals in loss
Comrie stopped 27 of 33 shots on net in Thursday's 6-1 loss to the Sharks.
Comrie struggled in Winnipeg's season finale, as he allowed two goals in the opening period before surrendering three more tallies in the second. With the loss, the 30-year-old netminder will wrap the season with a 12-11-1 record, a 3.13 GAA and an .890 save percentage across 25 outings this season. He improved as the season dragged on, with six wins over his final eight outings, but primarily served as Connor Hellebuyck's backup when the latter was fully healthy. Comrie is set to become an unrestricted free agent in the offseason, leaving his viability in fantasy up in the air ahead of next season.

Jets' Eric Comrie: Poised to start Thursday
Comrie was the first goalie off and is expected to be between the pipes at home versus the Sharks on Thursday, Mike McIntyre of the Winnipeg Free Press reports.
Comrie has played in just 24 games this season, going 12-10-1 with a 3.00 GAA. It's been a slow stretch for the netminder of late, as the Jets were utilizing Connor Hellebuyck with extra frequency in the hopes of making the playoffs. A free agent this summer, Comrie could try to find another landing spot where he could see extra work.

Jets' Eric Comrie: Tough outing against Mammoth
Comrie stopped 31 of 35 shots in Tuesday's 5-3 loss to the Mammoth. The fifth goal was an empty-netter.
This was Comrie's first start since March 22, as the Jets rode with Connor Hellebuyck during their failed pursuit of a playoff spot. The 30-year-old Comrie has appeared in a career-high 24 games this season, earning a 12-10-1 record with a 3.00 GAA and an .894 save percentage. The Jets have one game left on the schedule, which is Thursday at home versus the Sharks.

Jets' Eric Comrie: Tending twine Tuesday
Comrie will draw Tuesday's road start against the Mammoth, per Ken Wiebe of The Winnipeg Free Press.
With the Jets eliminated from postseason contention, Winnipeg will turn to Comrie to give Connor Hellebuyck some rest. Overall, Comrie has a 12-9-1 record, a 2.95 GAA and an .894 save percentage across 23 appearances this season. Tuesday's appearance will be his second in the team's last three games after he appeared in relief of Hellebuyck on Saturday. Comrie will face off against the Mammoth, who should pose a good challenge for the 30-year-old netminder with their 12th-ranked 3.23 goals per game this season.

Jets' Eric Comrie: Gives up two goals in relief
Comrie allowed two goals on three shots on goal in Saturday's 7-1 loss to the Flyers.
Comrie entered the game in the final period, but by that time, the Jets were already down 5-1 and had no chance to mount a comeback. Still, that doesn't make this outing any better since he was beaten on two of the three shots he faced. The Jets still have an outside chance to make the playoffs in the final week of the regular season, so they're expected to rely on Connor Hellebuyck between the pipes.

Jets' Eric Comrie: Looking to extend win streak
Comrie will get the start in goal for Sunday's game against the Rangers, Mike McIntyre of the Winnipeg Free Press reports.
With the Jets sitting just five points back of a playoff spot, Connor Hellebuyck has been getting the vast majority of starts, but he is getting a rare game off Sunday. Comrie has been successful when called upon lately. The 30-year-old Comrie brings a personal five-game winning streak into Sunday's contest that dates back to Jan 9. Overall, he is 11-9-1 on the season with a 2.96 GAA and an .895 save percentage. The Rangers average 2.80 goals per game, which is 25th in the NHL.

Jets' Eric Comrie: Win streak at five
Comrie stopped 29 of 31 shots in Sunday's 3-2 win over the Blues.
He was by far the busier of the two netminders as the Jets got out-shot 31-16 on the afternoon, but Comrie took a shutout into the third before seeing it spoiled by Dalibor Dvorsky. Comrie hasn't lost a game since Jan. 1, going 5-0-0 over his last five starts with a dazzling 1.39 GAA and .946 save percentage in that span. Head coach Scott Arniel has also been very careful with his deployment -- none of those starts have come against teams currently in line for a playoff spot, and Comrie has beaten St. Louis (29th overall) twice during his hot streak while also downing Vancouver (32nd), Los Angeles (24th) and Florida (23rd).

The 30-year-old has reached double-digit wins for just the second time in his career, sitting at 10-9-1 with a 3.01 GAA and an .893 save percentage in 20 outings this season. Assuming Connor Hellebuyck is ready to roll Friday in Anaheim, Comrie will likely slip back into the backup role for the remainder of the campaign.

Comrie played just once during an 11-game winless stretch for the Jets, giving up six goals to the Maple Leafs on New Year's Day. Comrie improved to 7-9-1 with a 3.33 GAA and an .884 save percentage over 17 appearances. His playing time will likely remain low unless the Jets opt to give Connor Hellebuyck more rest.

Comrie will get his second start in 12 games, as the Jets played Connor Hellebuyck on Thursday in a 4-3 loss to Edmonton. Comrie is 6-9-1 with a 3.49 GAA and an .880 save percentage, not great numbers for a Jets team that's trying to snap an 11-game losing streak. The Kings are not a high-scoring team, as they sit in 28th in NHL scoring, generating 2.67 goals per game.

Jets' Eric Comrie: Fourth straight loss
Comrie made 24 saves in a 6-5 loss to Toronto on Thursday.
His teammates roared out of the gate and rewarded him with a 4-1 lead. But Auston Matthews woke up and completed his hat trick, and the Leafs notched the win. Comrie last won Dec. 5, and is 0-4-0 with 19 goals allowed in that span. The Jets are 1-6-3 in their last 10 and 0-5-3 in their past eight. They sit last in the NHL. Comrie needs to stay on your bench while the Jets refuel. And that may take some time.

Jets' Eric Comrie: Set to start Thursday
Comrie will guard the road goal versus the Maple Leafs on Thursday, Ken Wiebe of The Winnipeg Free Press reports.
Wiebe will get into action for the first time since Dec. 11. The 30-year-old netminder closed out his time as the Jets' starter with three straight losses before Connor Hellebuyck returned from knee surgery. Comrie allowed 13 goals over those losses, and the Maple Leafs have 20 goals over their last five games, a span in which they are 3-1-1.

Jets' Eric Comrie: Can't end skid Thursday
Comrie stopped 18 of 23 shots in Thursday's 6-3 loss to the Bruins. The sixth goal was an empty-netter.
The Bruins rattled off three goals in a span of 2:44 during the first period, and the Jets never really recovered from it. Comrie has lost three consecutive games, and this was arguably one of his worst performances of the year. He's now at a 6-8-1 record with a 3.30 GAA and an .886 save percentage through 15 starts. With 11 starts over the last 12 games, including seven in a row, fatigue may be in play at this point. Domenic DiVincentiis is awaiting his NHL debut whenever the Jets want to give Comrie a rest, though neither goalie would be a particularly good fantasy play for Saturday's game versus the Capitals.
