Browns' Dustin Colquitt: Links up with Cleveland
The Browns signed Colquitt to a contract Friday, Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports.
Colquitt appears primed to start Sunday's divisional matchup against the Ravens, with Jamie Gillan (undisclosed) having been placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list Thursday. Colquitt appeared in six games with the Falcons this season.

Dustin Colquitt: Let go by Falcons
Colquitt was waived by the Falcons on Monday, Tori McElhaney of the Falcons' official site reports.
Colquitt appeared in six games for Atlanta during the 2021 campaign, but he missed the last two contests after he was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list. He'll now be let go by the Falcons since Thomas Morstead has punted well in Colquitt's absence.

The Falcons placed Colquitt (undisclosed) on the reserve/COVID-19 list Monday.
Colquitt is now just the second Falcons player to land on the team's current reserve/COVID-19 list alongside offensive guard Josh Andrews. The designation will leave the veteran punter's availability for Sunday's game against Jacksonville murky until more information is released regarding his exact health status.

Falcons' Dustin Colquitt: Promoted by Atlanta
The Falcons signed Colquitt to their 53-man roster from their practice squad Monday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Colquitt will serve as an emergency punter after the Falcons starting punter, Cameron Nizialek, picked up a hamstring injury during Week 4. Younghoe Koo, Atlanta's placekicker, replaced Nizialek during Sunday's game and had two punts for 70 yards.

Dustin Colquitt: Joins Chiefs' practice squad
Colquitt signed with the Chiefs' practice squad Thursday, Field Yates of ESPN reports.
After punting for Kansas City over the past 15 seasons and culminating his tenure by helping to capture a Lombardi Trophy last February, Colquitt has followed a less direct path in 2020. The 38-year-old was cut by the Steelers in October and subsequently went over two months before getting another opportunity Week 16 with the Jaguars. He'll now join Kansas City in a reserve capacity, as the Chiefs eye a second consecutive Super Bowl run.

Colquitt signed a one-year contract with the Steelers on Monday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Colquitt spent the last 15 seasons with the Chiefs after being selected in the third round of the 2005 NFL Draft, and the Steelers will be the second team of his career. The 38-year-old averaged 44.3 yards per punt and landed 21 of 48 punts inside the 20-yard line last season.

Colquitt has served as Kansas City's punter for the past 15 years, but the team will save $2 million in cap space by cutting him. The veteran punter will turn 38 in early May and it's unclear whether he plans to continue his career elsewhere.
