Alford (undisclosed) reverted to the Saints' injured reserve Thursday. Alford will return to the Saints after clearing waivers. The 25-year-old found success last season in the CFL, finishing with 407 receiving yards and five touchdowns.

Alford (undisclosed) was waived/injured by the Saints on Wednesday, Ross Jackson of WWL Louisiana reports. The 25-year-old wideout signed with the Saints in early January after recording 407 receiving yards and five touchdowns with the Calgary Stampeders of the CFL in 2025. However, he's now dealing with an injury, and New Orleans has decided to move in another direction. If Alford clears waivers, he'll revert to the Saints' injured reserve list.
