Hartwig (undisclosed) reverted to the Jets' reserve/PUP list Friday.
Hartwig was waived by the Jets due to an undisclosed issue that caused him to fail his physical. The center was not claimed off waivers and now will remain on the reserve/PUP list while he recovers from his issue.

The Jets waived Hartwig (undisclosed) with a failed physical designation Thursday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
It's unclear exactly what Hartwig is dealing with. If the offensive lineman -- who joined the Jets as an undrafted free agent out of Purdue last May -- clears waivers, he'll land on injured reserve.

The Jets waived Hartwig (undisclosed) with an injury designation Tuesday, John Pullano and Ethan Greenberg of the team's official site report.
Hartwig signed with the Jets in May as an undrafted free agent. It's not clear what type of injury Hartwig may be dealing with, but if he clears waivers, Hartwig will be placed on injured reserve and be forced to miss the entire 2025 season unless an injury settlement is reached with the Jets.
