  • Broncos' Marvin Mims: Won't play Thursday

Mims (concussion) has been ruled out for Thursday's game against Las Vegas. The Broncos listed Mims as a limited practice participant Tuesday and Wednesday, hinting at a degree of practice and potential return for Week 11 against Kansas City on Nov. 16. With Mims out for the past game and a half, Troy Franklin and Pat Bryant took on more snaps alongside Courtland Sutton. It'll likely be the same story Thursday night, with Trent Sherfield also having a role as the No. 4 receiver.

  • Broncos' Marvin Mims: Considered limited Tuesday

Mims (concussion) was estimated to be a limited participant at Tuesday's walkthrough. Mims was able to participate in some capacity for the first time since suffering a concussion in Week 8 against Dallas. The wide receiver remains in the concussion protocol, and he'll likely have to log a full session Wednesday to have a shot at playing in Thursday night's matchup with Las Vegas. If he's unavailable, Pat Bryant would once again see an uptick in workload in Week 9.

  • Broncos' Marvin Mims: Listed as DNP on Monday

Mims (concussion) was listed as a non-participant on Monday's estimated injury report, Aric DiLalla of the Broncos' official site reports. Mims emerged from the Broncos' Week 8 win against the Cowboys with a concussion and wasn't able to practice in any capacity before being ruled out ahead of this past Sunday's game at Houston. With no listed activity to speak of yet for the third-year pro, he may be trending in the wrong direction to clear the protocol for head injuries and play Thursday versus the Raiders.

  • Broncos' Marvin Mims: Sleeper WRs

Franklin just had three catches for 19 yards and a touchdown on 10 targets in Week 7 against the Giants. Mims has scored at least 15.8 PPR points in two of his past four games, and this passing attack has the chance to be dominant against Dallas at home in this matchup.

  • Broncos' Marvin Mims: Doesn't practice Thursday

Mims (concussion) remained a non-participant at Thursday's practice, Zac Stevens of DNVR Sports reports. Mims will need to return to practice Friday to have any chance of clearing the NFL's five-step concussion protocol prior to Sunday's game against the Texans. If Mims sits out against Houston, Riley Moss could take over as Denver's punt returner, while more snaps would be available for Pat Bryant and Trent Sherfield at wide receiver behind Courtland Sutton and Troy Franklin.

  • Broncos' Marvin Mims: Not practicing Wednesday

Mims (concussion) didn't practice Wednesday, Chris Tomasson of The Denver Gazette reports. Per Tomasson, Mims, who is in concussion protocol in the wake of this past Sunday's 44-24 win over the Cowboys, was able to work on a side field Wednesday. The wideout thus has two more chances to practice fully before Denver's Week 9 injury designations are posted. Through eight games thus far, Mims has been a hit-or-miss fantasy option, recording a 22/234/1 receiving line on 32 targets in that span.

  • Broncos' Marvin Mims: In concussion protocol after win

Mims is in concussion protocol following Sunday's 44-24 win over the Cowboys, Troy Renck of The Denver Post reports. Mims was injured late in the win over Dallas. Prior to getting hurt, the 2023 second-round pick didn't catch his only target and rushed three times for 18 yards. He also had three kickoff returns for 93 yards, two punt returns for 26 yards and drew a 32-yard defensive pass interference penalty. Mims will need to clear concussion protocol to have a chance to play in Week 9 against the Texans.

  • Broncos' Marvin Mims: Week 8 Adds (WR Preview)

It is hard to guess whether Marvin Mims or Troy Franklin will be better in a given week, but against the Cowboys they could both be good enough to start as a WR3. Mims gets a small edge thanks to the fact that he gets at least one rush attempt most weeks and has has 36 yards rushing over his last four games. Franklin struggled with his efficiency last week but did see a season-high 10 targets.

  • Broncos' Marvin Mims: Gains 98 yards from scrimmage

Mims brought in six of seven targets for 85 yards and took his only carry for 13 yards in Sunday's 33-32 win over the Giants. Mims checked in as the Broncos' second-leading receiver in Sunday's comeback victory, finishing only behind Courtland Sutton's 6-87-0 receiving line. The 23-year-old Mims added 13 yards on his fourth rushing attempt of the season to finish as Denver's highest yardage producer. That said, Mims finished with two or fewer receptions in four out of his last five appearances, highlighting the playmaker's weekly volatility. Fantasy managers are hoping for one of Mims' "boom" games in a soft matchup against the Cowboys next Sunday.

  • Broncos' Marvin Mims: Listed as limited again

Mims (hip/ankle) was limited at Thursday's practice. Mims also was deemed limited on Wednesday's practice estimate, so he'll have one more chance to practice fully ahead of Sunday's game against the Eagles. He's coming off his most productive game of the season, having recorded six catches on as many targets for 69 yards and one carry for a 16-yard TD in Monday's 28-3 win over the Bengals.

  • Broncos' Marvin Mims: Limited on practice estimate

Mims (hip/ankle) was listed as limited on Wednesday's practice estimate. Mims was a Saturday addition to the Broncos' Week 4 injury report with a hip injury, but he suited up for Monday night's 28-3 win over the Bengals and wound up with six catches on as many targets for 69 yards and one carry for a 16-yard TD. The wideout is now also managing an ankle issue and will have two more chances to practice fully leading up to Sunday's game against the Eagles.

  • Broncos' Marvin Mims: Week 5 Waiver Priority List

It was the Bengals, so take that into account, but Mims had his best game of the season in Week 4 with six catches for 69 yards on six targets, and he added a 16-yard rushing touchdown on his lone carry. Coming into the game Monday night, Mims only had six catches for 40 yards in the first three games of the year, but hopefully this is the jumpstart to his season. It's worth adding him to find out for at least 1 percent of your remaining FAB.

  • Broncos' Marvin Mims: Active versus Bengals

Mims (hip) is listed as active for Monday night's game against the Bengals, Aric DiLalla of the Broncos' official site reports. Mims, who didn't appear on the Broncos' Week 4 injury report Thursday or Friday, was deemed questionable for the contest after being listed as limited in Saturday's practice. With his availability versus Cincinnati confirmed, Mims -- who's been a key returner for Denver -- will bolster a wide receiver corps that's been paced of late by Courtland Sutton and Troy Franklin. Through his team's first three games, the 2023 second-rounder's fantasy impact has been modest, with Mims having logged six catches (on 10 targets) for 40 yards and a TD in that span.

  • Broncos' Marvin Mims: Questionable for MNF

Mims is listed as questionable for Monday's game against the Bengals due to a hip injury. The injury appears to be a recent one, given Mims practiced in full Thursday and Friday. He was limited in Saturday's session, and his status for Monday night's game may not be known until the Broncos announce their inactives list approximately 90 minutes before the 8:15 p.m. ET kickoff. Mims has six catches (on 10 targets) for 40 yards and a touchdown through three games, though most of his impact has come on special teams, where he has logged 248 kickoff return yards and 103 punt return yards. Riley Moss, Jaleel McLaughlin and Tyler Badie would be candidates to take over return duties on special teams if Mims is not cleared to play.

  • Broncos' Marvin Mims: One grab in loss

Mims caught one of four targets for four yards in Sunday's 23-20 loss to the Chargers. Mims continued his disappointing start to the 2025 campaign, as the third-year wide receiver has recorded just six catches for 40 yards and a touchdown through three games. The 23-year-old operated as Denver's No. 3 wideout behind both Courtland Sutton and Troy Franklin. Quarterback Bo Nix and Mims had trouble connecting in the contest, as Nix struggled with accuracy while pushing the ball down the field. The Oklahoma product hasn't had the role in the Broncos' offense that fantasy managers hoped for thus far, making him extremely difficult to trust for fantasy purposes. Mims will look to get more involved in Denver's aerial attack when the Broncos host the Bengals and their vulnerable defense in Week 4.

  • Broncos' Marvin Mims: Finds end zone in loss

Mims reeled in both of his targets for 24 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 29-28 loss to the Colts. Mims scored his first touchdown on the season despite seeing a significant dip in his playing time in Week 2. After playing 51 percent of the Broncos' offensive snaps in Week 1, the 23-year-old was on the field for just 36 percent of snaps against the Colts. Meanwhile, teammate Troy Franklin saw an uptick in playing time and led all Denver pass catchers with nine targets. If this type of usage continues, Mims will be difficult to trust for fantasy purposes as the third option among wide receivers behind both Franklin and Courtland Sutton. Nonetheless, the third-year wideout will look to build off this performance in Week 3 when the Broncos visit the Chargers.

  • Broncos' Marvin Mims: Sleeper WRs

Mims is off the injury report after dealing with a thigh injury, and hopefully, he can pick up where last season ended. He scored at least 19.9 PPR points in three of his final five games of the regular season, including five touchdowns over that span, and he had three games during that stretch with at least five targets. Courtland Sutton is locked into the No. 1 receiver role for the Broncos, but Mims should be No. 2, for now, ahead of Troy Franklin and Pat Bryant. And based on his role in the preseason, Mims could be headed for a breakout campaign, starting this week. I like him as a boom-or-bust No. 3 Fantasy receiver in deeper leagues.

  • Broncos' Marvin Mims: Ready for Week 1

Mims (thigh) practiced fully Wednesday, Aric DiLalla of the Broncos' official site reports. Mims exited practice last week with a thigh injury and didn't participate in this past Thursday's session but was able to return to the field Monday. With a full showing under his belt Wednesday, Mims is slated to play in Sunday's regular-season opener against the Titans, a contest in which the 2023 second-rounder is expected to work as the Broncos' WR2 behind top option Courtland Sutton.

  • Broncos' Marvin Mims: Back at practice, as expected

Mims (groin) is participating in Monday's practice, Luca Evans of The Denver Post reports. Broncos coach Sean Payton said after Mims was forced to depart last Wednesday's practice early that he was expected to retake the field Monday, so it's encouraging to see the 2023 second-rounder following that timetable without any setbacks. By all indications, Mims is only dealing with a minor groin injury and remains on track for Sunday's regular-season opener against the Titans.

  • Broncos' Marvin Mims: Absent from practice Thursday

Mims (groin) is not present at Thursday's practice, Parker Gabriel of The Denver Post reports. Mims left Wednesday's practice early to be evaluated for a groin issue, though Broncos coach Sean Payton downplayed the injury's severity. The team appears to simply be taking a cautious approach to the No. 2 receiver's recovery until next week, when prep for the regular-season opener against Tennessee on Sunday, Sept. 7 fully kicks off, as Payton said Mims will be back on the field Monday, per Zac Stevens of TheDNVR.com.
