Steelers' Keeanu Benton: Three stops in Week 11 victory
Benton posted three tackles (one solo) during the Steelers' 34-12 win over the Bengals on Sunday.
Benton played a season-low 39 defensive snaps Sunday, but that may have been in part due to the Steelers' large lead late in the fourth quarter. The third-year defensive tackle is up to 29 tackles (14 solo), including 4.5 sacks, through 10 regular-season games.

Steelers' Keeanu Benton: Logs sack in loss
Benton logged seven tackles (three solo), including 1.0 sacks, in Pittsburgh's loss to the Chargers on Sunday.
Benton recorded one of the Steelers' four sacks of Justin Herbert during the loss. After getting off to a slow start this season, the 2023 second-round pick has been more productive as of late, logging 17 tackles (10 solo), including 3.0 sacks, across his last four appearances.

Steelers' Keeanu Benton: Back to full health
Benton (upper body) wasn't listed on Wednesday's injury report.
The third-year defensive lineman dealt with an upper-body issue late last month, but Benton appears to be past it and should be good to go for Sunday's Week 1 opener against the Jets. Benton appeared in all 17 regular-season games last season, making 14 starts, logging 36 tackles (16 solo), including 1.0 sacks, six pass breakups, including one interception, and one fumble recovery.

Steelers' Keeanu Benton: Dealing with upper-body issue
Benton is dealing with an upper-body injury, placing some doubt on his availability for Week 1, Chris Halicke of DK Pittsburgh Sports reports.
Benton appears to have picked up an upper-body injury during Thursday's 19-10 preseason win over the Panthers. He played nine defensive snaps in the contest, failing to record any stats. Rookie Derrick Harmon (knee) also suffered an injury in the game, so the Steelers could be without two interior defensive linemen in their regular-season opener Sept. 7 versus the Jets.

Steelers' Keeanu Benton: Logs more snaps in second season
Benton finished the 2024 regular season with 36 tackles (16 solo), including 1.0 sacks, along with six defensed passes (one of which was an interception) and one fumble recovery over 17 contests.
Benton has yet to miss a game in his two-year NFL career. He was on the field more often this season than in his rookie campaign -- last year, he logged more than 50 percent of Pittsburgh's defensive snaps four times, while this season that number shot up to 13. However, Benton produced the exact same number of tackles and sacks, though he did boost his tally of pass defenses by four. His numbers aren't appealing in IDP leagues, but Benton has shown promise in his first two pro seasons and should maintain a steady role along Pittsburgh's defensive line in the third year of his rookie contract next season.
