Anthony Torres: Let go with injury settlement
The Rams waived Torres (ankle) from injured reserve Tuesday with an injury settlement, per the NFL's transaction log.
Torres suffered an ankle injury during the Rams' preseason opener against the Cowboys. He was slated to miss the entire 2025 season when he reverted to injured reserve after clearing waivers, but the injury settlement allows the 25-year-old tight end to sign with another team once he's fully recovered from his injury.

Rams' Anthony Torres: Lands on IR
Torres (ankle) reverted to the Rams' injured reserve list Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
The Rams waived Torres on Monday with an injury designation after he tweaked his ankle in Saturday's preseason game against the Cowboys. He went unclaimed off waivers and was shifted to the Rams' IR, which means the 25-year-old tight end will miss the entire 2025 season unless he reaches an injury settlement with Los Angeles.

Anthony Torres: Let go by Rams
The Rams waived/injured Torres (ankle) on Monday.
Torres injured his ankle during the Rams' preseason game against the Cowboys on Saturday. He'll go on waivers, but he will revert to the Rams' injured reserve if he isn't claimed, which will force him miss the entire 2025 season unless an injury settlement is reached. Tight end McCallan Castles was signed by the Rams in a corresponding move.

Rams' Anthony Torres: In line to miss time
Rams coach Sean McVay said Sunday that Torres (ankle) will miss "a little bit of time," Stu Jackson of the Rams' official site reports.
Torres was forced off the field early during Saturday's preseason game against the Cowboys, and it looks like his ankle injury will force a stint on the sideline. It remains to be seen whether Torres will be cleared for action in time to play in preseason action Saturday, Aug. 16 against the Chargers.

Rams' Anthony Torres: Exits with ankle injury
Torres (ankle) has been ruled out to return to Saturday's preseason game against the Cowboys, Adam Grosbard of The Orange County Register reports.
Torres, who signed with Los Angeles back in April after going undrafted out of Toledo, has spent training camp and the offseason competing for a depth role at tight end. He'll attempt to get healthy in time for the Rams' second preseason game, which will occur Saturday, Aug. 16 against the Chargers.
