Texans' Evan Brown: Lands in Houston
Brown signed a one-year contract worth up to $3.5 million with the Texans on Saturday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Brown is an NFL veteran who began his career as a backup but has worked mostly as a starter over the past five seasons. Last year, he started all 11 games in which he played as a member of the Cardinals. Brown is a candidate to start at left guard for Houston, though he could compete with Jarrett Patterson for that role.

Evan Brown: Let go by Arizona
The Cardinals released Brown (personal) on Thursday, Bo Brack of GoPHNX.com reports.
The move will save the Cardinals approximately $5 million of salary cap space. He started in all 11 regular-season games he appeared in last year, but he did not play in Arizona's last five games due to a personal matter. Now that he's a free agent, Brown will have the opportunity to sign with a team looking to bolster its offensive line with a guard.
