Cotton reverted to the team's injured reserve before signing an injury settlement. The cornerback is now a free agent able to sign with any team. The undrafted free agent out of Utah says his priority is to get healthy.

Cotton (hamstring) was waived/injured by the Broncos on Friday, Mike Klis of 9News Denver reports.
Cotton sustained a hamstring injury during Wednesday's training camp practice. He will revert to the Broncos' injured reserve if he clears waivers, which will force him to sit for the entire 2026 season unless he reaches an injury settlement with Denver.

Cotton (hamstring) was waived by the Broncos on Thursday after reaching an injury settlement with the team, Chris Tomasson of The Denver Gazette reports.
The cornerback injured his hamstring during Wednesday's practice, per Tomasson, but the settlement at least gives him a chance to play in 2026. Cotton signed with Denver as an undrafted free agent in June.
