Bengals' Shemar Stewart: Officially placed on IR
Stewart (knee) was placed on the injured reserve list Saturday.
Stewart has already missed four games due to an ankle injury and will now be forced to miss at least Cincinnati's next four contests after being placed on IR. The earliest he can return is the Bengals' Week 15 matchup against the Ravens. While Stewart is out, expect Myles Murphy and Cedric Johnson to have expanded roles on Cincinnati's defense.

Bengals' Shemar Stewart: Expected to land on IR
Stewart (knee) is expected to be placed on the injured reserve list, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
If Stewart is placed on IR, he will be forced to miss at least the Bengals' next four games, with his earliest possible return coming in the Week 15 matchup against the Ravens. The 2025 first-round pick from Texas A&M has battled injuries all season, already missing four games due to an ankle issue. He's made just five appearances, recording six total tackles across 176 defensive snaps. If Stewart is sidelined for the foreseeable future as expected, Myles Murphy will likely operate as the Bengals' top reserve defensive end.

Bengals' Shemar Stewart: Still week-to-week, out Week 11
Stewart (knee) won't play Sunday against the Steelers, Ben Baby of ESPN.com reports.
Stewart has been limited to five appearances this season, as he dealt with an ankle injury earlier in the campaign and will now be sidelined by a knee injury he sustained in Cincinnati's Week 9 loss to the Bears prior to the Bengals' Week 10 bye. Stewart's next chance to take the field will come in Week 12 against the Patriots, but he remains week-to-week, per Baby.

Bengals' Shemar Stewart: Still week-to-week
Head coach Zac Taylor said that Stewart (knee) remains week-to-week Wednesday, Paul Dehner Jr. of The Athletic reports.
Stewart got the same label to start last week following the Bengals' Week 9 loss to the Bears, so he doesn't appear to have made much progress over the bye. He looks unlikely to suit up in Week 11 against the Steelers, though his status is not official.

Bengals' Shemar Stewart: Week-to-week with knee injury
Head coach Zac Taylor said Monday that Stewart is considered "week-to-week" due to a knee injury he sustained during the Bengals' 47-42 loss to the Bears, Ben Baby of ESPN.com reports.
Stewart was officially ruled out toward the end of the fourth quarter, and he finished the contest with three tackles (one solo) while playing a season-high 49 snaps on defense. The Bengals are on a bye Week 10, so the additional time to rehab and recover means the rookie first-rounder could be available for Week 11 against the Steelers on Sunday, Nov. 16.

Bengals' Shemar Stewart: Leaves with knee injury
Stewart left Sunday's loss to the Bears with a knee injury, Charlie Goldsmith of the Dayton Daily News reports.
Prior to the injury, Stewart had three tackles and one QB hit. The Bengals' first-round pick is still looking for his first NFL sack through Week 9, having missed four games due to injury. He was considered a developmental prospect coming out of Texas A&M, but even accounting for that learning curve, he has been a big disappointment.
