Desmond Reid: Waived off IR by Buffalo

The Bills waived Reid (undisclosed) off injured reserve Monday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports. Reid was waived/injured due to an undisclosed issue June 11. He then reverted to IR and was thus in line to miss the 2026 season, but Bills now have decided to move on. Consequently, Reid will be free to sign with another club and suit up during the coming campaign if he's able to return to health.

Reid (undisclosed) reverted to the Bills' injured-reserve list Friday after being waived Thursday, Alan Saunders of SteelersNow.com reports. The undrafted running back from the University of Pittsburgh will have to miss the entire 2026 season unless he reaches an injury settlement with the Bills. Reid played in seven games during his senior season at Pitt, recording 278 rushing yards and two touchdowns over 60 carries. He also recorded 23 receptions for 317 yards and two touchdowns.
