Watts was reverted to IR last Tuesday after clearing waivers. He had recently joined the Steelers as an undrafted free agent, but he'll now look to earn a chance elsewhere if he can prove he is healthy.

Watts (undisclosed) was reverted to IR on Tuesday after clearing waivers, Aaron Wilson of ProFootballNetwork.com reports.
Watts was recently signed as an undrafted free agent by the Steelers. Since he was waived with an injury designation he must be placed on IR upon clearing waivers. He'll be forced to miss the upcoming season unless he agrees to an injury settlement.

Watts joined Pittsburgh after failing to hear his name called during the 2022 NFL Draft, but he's since been cut. He spent his last season of college ball at Massachusetts, recording a career-best 43 tackles (26 solo), one interception and four passes defensed.
