Bengals' Devonnsha Maxwell: Comes off PUP list
Maxwell (knee) passed a physical and was activated from the active/PUP list Monday, Ben Baby of ESPN.com reports.
Maxwell missed all of last season due to a knee injury and continued to recover through the beginning of training camp. He appears to be past the knee issue and will now be able to both practice and participate in preseason contests. Maxwell is a long shot to make the Bengals' 53-man roster but could offer organizational depth as a member of the team's practice squad.

Cincinnati placed Maxwell on the active/PUP list Saturday.
After signing with the Bengals as an undrafted free agent prior to last season, Maxwell ended up spending the entire campaign on IR due to a knee injury.
