Lions' Larry Borom: Lands with Lions
Borom agreed to terms Monday on a contract with Detroit, Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press reports.
Borom will shore up the offensive tackle position for the Lions in the wake of Taylor Decker's release. That said, the veteran lineman may be better suited to a depth role than slotting in as a starter, leaving Detroit with further work to do in free agency and/or April's draft. Borom has started 38 of 63 regular-season appearances across five years in the NFL.

Dolphins' Larry Borom: Past illness
Borom (illness) was a full participant in Wednesday's walkthrough practice, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
An illness prevented Borom from playing in Monday's loss to the Steelers. He appears to be past the issue given his full practice Wednesday, which puts him on track to play against the Bengals on Sunday, when he'll provide depth for the Dolphins' offensive line.

Dolphins' Larry Borom: Inactive for Monday's game
Borom (illness) is inactive for Monday's contest against the Steelers.
Borom was added to Monday's injury report and initially listed as questionable to face Pittsburgh. His absence leaves the Dolphins' offensive line lacking for depth, and positions Kendall Lamm as the teams top reserve option at offensive tackle behind starters Patrick Paul and Austin Jackson.

Dolphins' Larry Borom: Dealing with illness
Borom (illness) has been downgraded and is now questionable for Monday's matchup against the Steelers, C. Isaiah Smalls II of the Miami Herald reports.
The Missouri product was a late addition to the Dolphins' injury report, and his status for Monday night's contest is now in question. If Borom is unable to go in Week 15, expect Kendall Lamm to operate as the Dolphins' top reserve offensive tackle.

Dolphins' Larry Borom: Finds home with Miami
The Dolphins agreed to terms with Borom on Monday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
Borom was a fifth-round pick by the Bears in the 2021 Draft, and he started 27 games across four seasons with the team. Borom mostly played tackle in Chicago, but the offensive line-needy Dolphins could also give him a look at guard. Borom shouldn't be counted on as a Week 1 starter in Miami.
