Bengals' Trey Hendrickson: Ruled out for Sunday
Hendrickson (hip) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Patriots.
Hendrickson has not played since aggravating a hip injury in Week 8 versus the Jets. Sunday will mark the fourth game of the season he'll miss due to injury. The 30-year-old could reportedly require surgery in the offseason, but he plans to delay the procedure to have a chance to return for Cincinnati this season. However, should the team be eliminated from playoff contention, the standout pass rusher's plans could change. Myles Murphy will likely maintain an extended role while Hendrickson remains out.

Bengals' Trey Hendrickson: Doubtful again for Week 12
Bengals head coach Zac Taylor said Monday that the Hendrickson (hip) is doubtful to play Sunday against the Patriots, Charlie Goldsmith of the Dayton Daily News reports.
Hendrickson has not played since Week 8 and appears to be trending toward sitting out versus New England on Sunday, which would mark his fourth consecutive missed game. The standout pass rusher could reportedly require surgery this offseason to address a core-muscle injury but intends to delay the procedure in order to retake the field and contribute for Cincinnati this season. That said, the Bengals currently sit at a 3-7 record, and Henderson's plans could change if the team is ultimately eliminated from playoff contention.

Bengals' Trey Hendrickson: Could need surgery in offseason
Hendrickson (hip/pelvis), who is inactive for Sunday's game in Pittsburgh, could require surgery after the season to address a core-muscle injury, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Hendrickson will miss his third game of the season due to the injury, which he may have aggravated while playing at less than 100 percent in the Bengals' Week 8 loss to the Jets. Though the Bengals have considered placing Hendrickson on injured reserve to give him extra time to heal, the team's current plan is to have the star pass rusher remain on the roster and rehab the injury with the aim of getting back to the field as soon as possible. While Hendrickson is aiming to delay any potential surgery until the offseason, his plans could change if the 3-6 Bengals fade from the playoff picture in the weeks to come.

Coach Zac Taylor said Monday that Hendrickson (hip) is doubtful to play Sunday against the Steelers, Paul Dehner Jr. of The Athletic reports.
Hendrickson wasn't present at practice Monday with the Bengals coming out of their bye week. Hendrickson missed the Bengals' Week 9 game against the Bears prior to the open date and looks poised to miss a second straight contest due to the injury. Through seven games this season, Hendrickson has recorded 16 tackles (11 solo), including 4.0 sacks, one pass breakup and one forced fumble. Following back-to-back 17.5-sack seasons in 2023 and 2024, it's been a down year for the soon-to-be 31-year-old edge rusher.
