Texans' Ja'Marcus Ingram: Headed to Houston
Ingram was claimed off waivers by the Texans on Thursday.
Ingram was cut loose by the Bills on Monday after Buffalo claimed Darius Slay on the open market. Ingram will now head to Houston, having produced six total tackles (five solo) over seven contests with the Bills this season. The 28-year-old will provide the Texans with an additional option at cornerback behind Derek Stingley while Kamari Lassiter (foot) could be set to miss some action moving forward.

Bills' Ja'Marcus Ingram: Sees more defensive work in 2024
Ingram recorded 24 total tackles (16 solo), including 1.0 sack, and added four passes defended with two interceptions over 17 regular-season games in 2024.
Ingram had played just 50 defensive snaps across five regular-season games during his first two seasons in the NFL. However, the third-year pro played a career-high 202 defensive snaps in 2024, setting personal bests in tackles, sacks, passes defended and interceptions. He nabbed two picks in the Bills' Week 2 win over the Dolphins, one of which he returned for a touchdown. Ingram remains under contract through the 2025 season, so he's likely to return as the Bills' top reserve slot corner. There's also a chance he'll have the opportunity to compete for a starting role, with Rasul Douglas set to become an unrestricted free agent.

Bills' Ja'Marcus Ingram: Ready to rock
Ingram (personal) has no injury designation ahead of Sunday's wild-card matchup against the Broncos.
Ingram didn't practice Wednesday or Thursday due to a personal matter but returned as a full participant Friday, indicating that he's moved past the issue in time to suit up Sunday. With Ingram available for the wild-card round, he's expected to serve as one of Buffalo's top reserve outside cornerbacks.

Bills' Ja'Marcus Ingram: Dealing with personal matter
Ingram (personal) is listed as a non-participant in Wednesday's walkthrough practice.
Ingram, who played a season-high 89 percent of defensive snaps Week 18 against the Patriots with Buffalo's starters resting, is currently away from the team due to a personal matter. If he's able to return in time for Sunday's wild-card round game against the Broncos, Ingram figures to resume handling his usual depth role at cornerback.

Bills' Ja'Marcus Ingram: Snags two picks vs. Dolphins
Ingram tallied two interceptions, one of which he returned for 31-yard touchdown, in the Bills' 31-10 win over the Dolphins on Thursday.
Ingram played just 23 snaps on defense, but he was responsible for two of the Bills' three interceptions on the night. He picked off Tua Tagovailoa early in the first quarter, which led to a 17-yard touchdown reception from Josh Allen to James Cook six plays later. Ingram was on the receiving end of a failed throw-away attempt from Tagovailoa on the Dolphins' first drive of the third quarter, which the former returned for a 31-yard pick-six that extended the Bills' lead to 21 points. Ingram is the backup corner behind Rasul Douglas and Christian Benford, but Ingram could see additional playing time moving forward after his impressive performance in Buffalo's Week 2 win.
