Delpit logged four tackles (one solo), one pass defense and one fumble recovery during Cleveland's 21-17 loss to Minnesota on Sunday.
Delpit jumped on a loose ball early in the first quarter, and that turnover led to a Dillon Gabriel one-yard touchdown pass to Harold Fannin seven plays later. Delpit has opened the 2025 regular season with 27 tackles (16 solo) and three pass defenses (one interception) through five games.

Delpit (back) was listed as a full participant on Thursday's estimated practice report, Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.
Cleveland held a walkthrough Thursday. It's an upgrade for Delpit after he was limited in Wednesday's session. Delpit has played 96 percent of the Browns' defensive snaps through four games, recording 23 tackles (15 solo) and two pass breakups, including one interception.

Delpit made nine tackles, including one for a loss, and one pass defensed, including an interception, in Sunday's 13-10 win over Green Bay in Week 3.
Cleveland's defense had a strong day overall, and Delpit was one of its leaders. He jumped a route for his first interception and returned it 25 yards to the Packers four-yard line. Two plays later, Quinshon Judkins tied the game with a one-yard touchdown plunge. The pick was Cleveland's first turnover of the season. Delpit tied for the team high in tackles Sunday and has 18 through three games, along with two passes defensed.

Delpit logged four tackles (two solo) during the Browns' 17-16 loss to the Bengals on Sunday.
Delpit didn't produce a high number of tackles in Sunday's regular-season opener, but he was one of three Browns players to play all 52 defensive snaps. The 2020 second-rounder is coming off a 2024 campaign in which he logged a career-best 111 tackles (68 solo) across 16 regular-season games. Delpit and the Browns' defense will have their hands full in Week 2, when they visit Baltimore to take on a Ravens offense that dropped 40 points on the Bills in Week 1.

Delpit finished the 2024 regular season with 111 tackles (68 solo), including 1.0 sacks, one pass defense and one fumble recovery across 16 games.
It was a disappointing season for the 3-14 Browns, whose defense gave up the third-most points per game in the NFL in 2024 (25.6). Delpit didn't record an interception for the first time in his four-year NFL career, but he did lead the Browns in combined and solo tackles and finished tied with Quentin Lake for seventh-most combined tackles among safeties. Delpit has logged at least 100 tackles in two of four NFL regular seasons.

Browns' Grant Delpit: Logs nine tackles against Miami
Delpit finished Sunday's 20-3 loss to the Dolphins with nine tackles (seven solo).
Delpit played every single defensive snap Sunday and finished as the Browns' leading tackler. It was the sixth time he has recorded at least nine combined tackles in a game, and his efforts in Cleveland's Week 17 loss has him at a career-high 107 combined tackles through 15 regular-season games. He'll look to add to his total in the Browns' regular-season finale against the Ravens on Saturday.

Browns' Grant Delpit: Posts first sack of season Week 16
Delpit secured five tackles, including 1.0 sacks, in Sunday's 24-6 loss to Cincinnati.
Delpit didn't get in on his first tackle until the second quarter but still managed to reach five stops for his 13th straight game. The fourth-year safety also recorded his first sack of the campaign when he brought down Joe Burrow in the third quarter. Delpit is up to 98 tackles on the season, putting him well within reach of the career-high mark of 105 stops he recorded in 2022.

Delpit and Jordan Hicks were the co-leading tackles for the Browns on Sunday. Delpit is now up to 93 combined tackles through 13 regular-season games, and the 2020 second-round pick is closing in on the second 100-tackle campaign of his four-year NFL career.
