  • Jaguars' Bhayshul Tuten: Tops 90 scrimmage yards against Philly

Tuten carried the ball 22 times for 72 yards and caught two of three targets for 24 yards in Sunday's 19-17 win over the Eagles.

The second-year back set new season highs in touches and scrimmage yards as he reached 90 in the latter category for a third straight game. Tuten has yet to have a truly huge performance this season, but he's been very steady so far as the Jaguars' No. 1 RB, collecting 349 rushing yards and two TDs on 4.3 yards per carry while adding a 9-78-0 line on 10 targets through five games. Tuten hasn't gotten into the end zone in two straight games, a streak he'll look to snap in Week 6 against the Texans.

  • Jaguars' Bhayshul Tuten: Good production with 19 touches

Tuten rushed 17 times for 73 yards and brought in both targets for 18 yards in the Jaguars' 22-17 win over the Bengals on Sunday.

Tuten filled his usual role as the clear lead option in Jacksonville's ground attack with aplomb, grinding out tough yards on many of his carries and also contributing a 20-yard run. He also recorded multiple receptions for the third consecutive game, and although he saw backfield mate Chris Rodriguez score the Jaguars' only rushing touchdown of the day, that came on a breakaway run from 25 yards out as opposed to in close. Tuten has at least 15 carries in three of his first four games heading into a Week 5 showdown against the Eagles in London next Sunday.

  • Jaguars' Bhayshul Tuten: Efficient effort in easy win

Tuten rushed 15 times for 73 yards and a touchdown and brought in both targets for 17 yards in the Jaguars' 35-6 win over the Patriots on Sunday.

Serving as the clear lead back once again, Tuten proved himself worthy of the role with a crisp performance that saw him consistently generate useful gains versus a talented Patriots front seven. Tuten capped off his fantasy-friendly effort with his second rushing touchdown of the campaign, a one-yard run with just over eight minutes remaining to close out the scoring on the afternoon. Tuten is averaging an impressive 4.7 yards per carry and is averaging a solid 16 touches through three games, rendering him an appealing option in all formats heading into a Week 4 road showdown against the Bengals next Sunday.

  • Jaguars' Bhayshul Tuten: Records rush TD in loss

Tuten rushed 13 times for 65 yards and a touchdown and brought in both targets for minus-3 yards in the Jaguars' 20-13 loss to the Broncos on Sunday.

Tuten worked as the Jaguars' clear lead back for the second time in as many games to open the season, even though his rushing workload was relatively modest Sunday. Tuten got into the end zone for the first time this season on a one-yard run early in the second quarter, and he was efficient overall against a high-caliber defense. Tuten figures to remain in the same role for a Week 3 home showdown against the defending AFC champion Patriots next Sunday.

  • Jaguars' Bhayshul Tuten: Impressive as lead back in win

Tuten rushed 15 times for 66 yards and brought in his only target for 22 yards in the Jaguars' 34-10 win over the Browns on Sunday. He also recovered a fumble.

Any questions surrounding the potential workload split in the Jaguars' ground attack were definitively answered for the time being Sunday, as Tuten put together an impressively efficient performance and outpaced backfield mate Chris Rodriguez by nine carries despite seeing his day come to an early end due to the lopsided score. Tuten was able to consistently generate productive runs, but he'll have a much stiffer test on the road against the Broncos in a Week 2 matchup next Sunday.

  • Jaguars' Bhayshul Tuten: Ready to go for Week 1

Tuten (illness) wasn't included on the Jaguars' first Week 1 injury report released Wednesday.

Tuten missed a practice one week ago after falling ill, but his absence from the Jaguars' first injury report of the season suggests that he's 100 percent healthy heading into Sunday's opener versus the Browns. Jaguars head coach Liam Coen hasn't revealed how he plans to divvy up the snaps among his running backs; even if Tuten ends up starting, he could wind up sharing the load on the ground with Chris Rodriguez. Third-down specialist LeQuint Allen (hip) didn't practice Wednesday and appears to be trending toward sitting out Week 1, potentially opening the door for both Tuten and Rodriguez to also see a slight spike in pass-catching opportunities.
