Browns' Gage Larvadain: Limited production in win
Larvadain did not catch his lone target and returned two punts for seven yards in Sunday's 31-6 win over Miami.
Larvadain overcame a concussion that made him a limited participant during the preparation week for Sunday's contest. On an encouraging note, he played a season-high 18 offensive snaps and saw a target for a second straight week. On a less sanguine note, the lopsided victory -- fueled by defense, special teams and turnovers in poor conditions -- highlighted that Cleveland's offense isn't set up for production from its depth wideouts.

Browns' Gage Larvadain: Clears concussion protocol
Larvadain (concussion) is active for Sunday's game against the Dolphins.
Larvadain was diagnosed with a concussion following last week's loss to the Steelers, but he cleared protocols Sunday and will suit up despite not logging a full practice during Week 7 prep. Larvadain is expected to fill a depth role on offense and possibly contribute in the return game on special teams.

Browns' Gage Larvadain: Questionable for Week 7
Larvadain (concussion) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Dolphins, Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.
Larvadain will first need clearance from an independent neurologist to exit the NFL's five-step concussion protocol. If he's able to attain that prior to Sunday's game, Larvadain would go back to filling a depth role on offense and possibly contributing in the return game on special teams.

Browns' Gage Larvadain: Gets in limited practice
Larvadain (concussion) was a limited participant in Thursday's practice, Daniel Oyefusi of ESPN.com reports.
Larvadian continues to progress through the NFL's five-step concussion protocol, as he was a non-participant at practice Wednesday. If he can upgrade to full practice reps Friday, Larvadain could have a chance to clear the concussion protocol in time to suit up at home against the Dolphins on Sunday. He'll need to gain full clearance, including from an independent neurologist, before being eligible to return to game action.

Browns' Gage Larvadain: Enters concussion protocol
Larvadain was diagnosed with a concussion following the Browns' 23-9 loss to the Steelers on Sunday, Chris Easterling of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.
Larvadain took a hit to the head from DeShon Elliott during the second half of Sunday's game. Larvadain will now enter the league's five-step concussion protocol, and he'll have to be be cleared by an independent neurologist in order to play in Week 7 against the Dolphins on Sunday, Oct. 19. Isaiah Bond would be in line to serve as the Browns' primary punt returner if Larvadain misses time.

Browns' Gage Larvadain: Questionable to return
Larvadain (head) is questionable to return to Cleveland's matchup versus the Steelers on Sunday.
Larvadain exited the game after taking a big hit from DeShon Elliott. If Larvadain can't return, Jamari Thrash and Malachi Corley should see increased playing time for the remainder of the game.

Browns' Gage Larvadain: Returns punts in season debut
Larvadain returned three punts for 31 yards and was not targeted on offense in Sunday's 21-17 loss to Minnesota in Week 5.
Larvadain made his season debut after being signed from the practice squad in the wake of injuries to Cedric Tillman (hamstring) and DeAndre Carter (knee) that landed both on the injured list last week. Larvadain had just one snap on offense, while fellow practice squad alum Malachi Corley played 12 snaps. The Browns on Sunday looked like a team that plans to rely on its ground game going forward, so opportunities for depth wideouts like Larvadain and Corley will be limited.

Browns' Gage Larvadain: Signed to Cleveland's active roster
The Browns signed Larvadain from the practice squad to the active roster Tuesday.
Larvadain made the Browns' initial 53-man roster at the end of training camp. He was waived by Cleveland on Sept. 13 but opted to stay with the organization as a member of the team's practice squad, and he has been signed back to the active roster after Cedric Tillman (hamstring) and DeAndre Carter (knee) were both placed on injured reserve. The undrafted rookie out of South Carolina could make his NFL regular-season debut against the Vikings on Sunday in London.

Gage Larvadain: Back with Cleveland
The Browns signed Larvadain to the practice squad Tuesday.
Larvadain was cut by the Browns on Saturday despite making the initial 53-man roster out of training camp, but the undrafted rookie will stick around as a member of the team's practice squad. With DeAndre Carter in concussion protocol, Larvadain is a candidate to be elevated to the Browns' active roster for their Week 3 bout against the Packers on Sunday.

Gage Larvadain: Heads to waivers
The Browns waived Larvadain on Saturday, Brad Stainbrook of 247Sports.com reports.
Larvadain made the 53-man roster out of training camp as an undrafted rookie, but he was a healthy scratch for the Week 1 loss to the Bengals. He's expected to remain on the practice squad if he clears waivers.

Browns' Gage Larvadain: Healthy scratch in Week 1
Larvadain (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Bengals.
Larvadain had an impressive training camp and preseason to make an unlikely rise up the depth chart to claim a roster spot. He'll be inactive for Week 1, however, with Isaiah Bond and DeAndre Carter instead set to serve as the depth wide receivers for the Browns.

Browns' Gage Larvadain: Makes initial 53-man roster
Larvadain will make Cleveland's initial 53-man roster rather than being among Tuesday's cuts, Brad Stainbrook of 247Sports.com reports.
Larvadain has parlayed an impressive preseason into a spot on Cleveland's initial 53-man roster, though the Browns' plans could still change before Week 1, considering the amount of players around the league being released or waived Tuesday. Still, the undrafted rookie out of South Carolina has defied odds to begin his NFL career and will continue working to compete with Isaiah Bond, Jamari Thrash and DeAndre Carter for depth opportunities behind Jerry Jeudy and Cedric Tillman (thumb).

Browns' Gage Larvadain: Target leader in preseason finale
Larvadain caught four of seven targets for 28 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's 19-17 preseason win over the Rams. He also returned three punts for 30 yards.
Larvadain was on the field with the first-team offense and scored his touchdown late in the second quarter. The undrafted rookie played 21 snaps and in all four quarters. He survived the Browns' first round of cuts Sunday and has a chance to earn a spot on the initial 53-man roster, per Zac Jackson of The Athletic. If the Browns keep six receivers, Larvadain is close to a lock. If they keep five, then he's among a group that also includes DeAndre Carter -- as more of a returner than wideout -- and Kaden Davis. Diontae Johnson did not have a good camp and appears to be outside the bubble. Larvadain had a strong camp and finished the preseason with nine catches for 94 yards and the one touchdown. He also returned 10 punts for a 10.4 average and a long of 30 yards.

Browns' Gage Larvadain: Past lower-body injury
Larvadain (lower body) caught three passes (on seven targets) for 43 yards while logging 16 yards on his lone carry during the Browns' 22-13 preseason win over the Eagles on Saturday.
Larvadain suffered a lower-body injury during the Browns' preseason opener against the Panthers, but the issue wasn't severe enough to prevent him from playing in Saturday's contest. The undrafted rookie led the Browns in targets, and, in addition to his offensive output, he turned five punt returns into 36 yards. Larvadain is battling for a wide receiver depth spot on Cleveland's 53-man roster, and his last chance to audition for that role will be in the Browns' preseason finale against the Rams on Saturday, Aug. 23.

Browns' Gage Larvadain: Dealing with lower-body injury
Larvadain was checked on by trainers for a lower-body injury during the third quarter of Friday's 30-10 preseason win over the Panthers, Daniel Oyefusi of ESPN.com reports.
Larvadain turned his lone carry into a four-yard touchdown at the 3:55 mark in the third quarter, but he suffered a lower-body injury on the Browns' next possession. He'll undergo further testing to determine the severity of the injury, but it puts him in jeopardy of missing Cleveland's second preseason game against Philadelphia on Saturday, Aug. 16. Larvadain also added two catches (on three targets) for 23 yards and turned two punt returns into 38 yards.
