NFL Rookies Competing for Starting Roles: Bhayshul Tuten for Jaguars RB1

Player Outlook
Little is the starting kicker for the Jaguars, but he has minimal Fantasy value coming into the season. He's not worth drafting in the majority of leagues, but he could be a waiver-wire addition as the year goes on. In 2024 as a rookie, Little was 27-of-29 on field goals, including 5-of-6 from 50 yards, and he made all 27 of his PATs. The Jaguars offense should improve in 2025, so Little could emerge as a must-start option as the season goes on. Keep an eye on his progress early in the season, and Little could be added off waivers in all formats.

  • Jaguars' Cam Little: Impressive in preseason finale

Little converted both of his field-goal attempts in Saturday's 14-6 preseason loss to the Dolphins. Little accounted for all of Jacksonville's scoring, nailing kicks from 59 and 43 yards away. He also made a 70-yard field goal in Jacksonville's first preseason contest, so he appears more than ready to handle kicking duties in Jacksonville's regular-season opener against the Panthers. Little is coming off an impressive rookie campaign, as he converted 27 of his 29 field goals, including 13 of 15 from 40 yards or more.

  • Jaguars' Cam Little: Perfect finish to rookie campaign

Little made all three of his field-goal attempts and both PATs during Sunday's 26-23 loss to the Colts. The rookie kicker converted twice from 53 yards as he put the finishing touches on an impressive debut season. Little, who was selected during the sixth round of the 2024 NFL Draft last April, went 27-for-29 on field goals and was perfect on 27 PATs this season. He should enter training camp with some decent job security given his performance as a rookie.

  • Jaguars' Cam Little: Stays perfect on extra-point tries

Little converted both of his extra-point attempts during the Jaguars' 19-14 loss to the Raiders this past Sunday. Coming off a 4-for-4 performance on field-goal tries against the Jets in Week 15, Little did not attempt a field goal during this past Sunday's loss. Little has been one of the most accurate kickers in the league, converting on all 23 of his extra-point attempts and going 22-for-24 on field-goal tries. He should have more opportunities to score points Sunday against a Titans team that gave up 38 points to the Colts in Week 16.

  • Jaguars' Cam Little: Perfect performance in loss

Little went 4-for-4 on field-goal tries while making his only extra-point attempt in Sunday's 32-25 loss to the Jets. Little connected on a pair of chip-shot field goals from 28 yards and 23 yards in the first half before later adding a pair of 43-yarders in the second half. The four field-goal makes marked a new career high for the rookie and he's now gone 22-for-24 on field goals this season while hitting all 21 his extra-point tries.

  • Jaguars' Cam Little: Does job in lopsided win

Little made his only field-goal try and converted all three of his extra-point attempts in Sunday's 32-16 win against New England. Little's field goal in the middle of the third quarter to put the Jaguars up 25-10 came from just 21 yards out, shorter than an extra point. That said, he has now made 11 of his 12 field-goal tries this season and all 14 of his extra-point attempts, so he could have the makings of an elite fantasy asset if Jacksonville can somehow pick up its lethargic offensive play.

  • Jaguars' Cam Little: Inconsequential in blowout

Little made his only field-goal attempt and converted his only extra-point try during Sunday's 35-16 loss against the Bears. Little opened up the scoring in London with a 30-yard field goal late in the first quarter, but things quickly got out of hand for the Jaguars from there. Chicago's defense has been good, but Jacksonville has struggled to move the ball against lesser units as well, putting a hard cap on Little's fantasy value.

  • Jaguars' Cam Little: Flawless in Week 5

Little converted on all three of his field-goal attempts and all four of his extra-point tries during Sunday's 37-34 win versus the Colts. Little had been doing well with the limited opportunities he saw during the first four games of the season, and he demonstrated consistency again Sunday. If Jacksonville can build on the offensive momentum it built in Week 5, Little seems to have the ability to deliver for fantasy managers. If the Jaguars revert to the mean they established for themselves through the first four weeks of the year, though, he won't be viable in most formats.

  • Jaguars' Cam Little: Perfect in loss to Bills

Little converted his only field-goal attempt and his lone extra-point try in Jacksonville's 47-10 loss to the Bills on Monday. Little was one of the few bright spots on offense for the Jaguars in Week 3, but his opportunities dried up with Buffalo getting out to a 34-3 lead by halftime. He'll look to remain accurate as Jacksonville prepares for a pivotal divisional matchup against the Texans in Week 4.

  • Jaguars' Cam Little: Records first miss

Little converted two of three field-goal attempts and made his lone PAT during Sunday's 18-13 loss to the Browns. The rookie sixth-round pick made all three of his kicks -- including a 53-yard field goal -- during the season opener, but he struck the right upright from 43 yards Sunday for his first career miss in the NFL. Little still made two field goals in the loss, as Jacksonville's struggles in goal-to-go situations led to field-goal attempts from 22 and 25 yards. The Jaguars' offense has been inconsistent through the first two weeks of 2024, and that's not a great situation for a rookie kicker from a fantasy perspective.

  • Jaguars' Cam Little: Perfect in NFL debut

Little made his lone field-goal attempt and both extra-point attempts during Sunday's 20-17 loss to the Dolphins. The rookie sixth-round pick converted from 53 yards during the second quarter for the first field goal of his NFL career, but Jacksonville's offense was unable to get on the scoreboard during the second half. It's still too early to declare Little a reliable kicking option, especially since the Jaguars' offensive inconsistency from 2023 appears to have carried over to this year.

  • Jaguars' Cam Little: Jacksonville selects in sixth round

The Jaguars selected Little in the sixth round of the 2024 NFL Draft, 212th overall. Kickers are never easy to predict, but Little was a very good collegiate kicker at Arkansas, and if he performs at a similar level in the NFL then this should prove a useful enough selection for Jacksonville. Little never missed an extra point attempt in college and made four of five field goal attempts from 50 yards or more in 2023. He'll compete with Riley Patterson and Joey Slye for the Jacksonville kicking role in 2024.
