Patriots' Andy Borregales: Misses 47-yard field goal in Week 2 win
Borregales went 2-for-3 on field-goal tries and made both of his extra-point attempts during the Patriots' 20-3 win over the Steelers on Sunday.
After a rather quiet Week 1 performance, Borregales was more involved in Sunday's win over Pittsburgh. He connected on a 30-yard field goal in the second quarter before missing a 47-yard try in the third, though Borregales bounced back by making a 45-yard FG later in the period. The second-year kicker has gone 3-for-4 on field-goal attempts and 3-for-3 on extra-point tries through the first two games of the 2026 regular season.

Patriots' Andy Borregales: Makes two kicks in loss
Borregales made his sole field-goal attempt and his only PAT try in Wednesday night's 13-10 loss to the Seahawks.
Borregales had minimal usage in Sunday's contest, but he drilled a 50-yard field goal that extended New England's lead to 10-0 at the start of the third quarter. The kicker will likely see more action in subsequent games as the team's offense gets back on track against some easier defenses.

Patriots' Andy Borregales: Bounces back in preseason win
Borregales made his only field-goal attempt, from 41 yards out, and connected on all three extra-point tries in the Patriots' 24-21 preseason win over the Eagles on Saturday.
Borregales had a shaky preseason opener against the Colts where he misfired on three field-goal attempts, but the UM product was able to convert every opportunity presented to him Saturday. Borregales does ostensibly have some slack after posting respective 84.4 percent and 96.4 percent success rates on field goals and PATs as a rookie in 2025, following up those solid numbers by making four of six field-goal attempts and all seven extra-point tries in New England's four-game postseason run.

Patriots' Andy Borregales: Misses three kicks Thursday
Borregales converted just two of five field-goal attempts in Thursday night's preseason opener against the Colts.
Coach Mike Vrabel wasn't thrilled after Borregales missed kicks from 56, 55 and 49 yards. "I don't have a message [for him]," Vrabel said, via Mike Kadlick of CLNSMedia.com. "We're expected to make them. That's pro football." Borregales is the only kicker on the Patriots' roster at the moment, but based on Vrabel's comments, it wouldn't be a shock if New England brings in competition for the remainder of the summer. As a rookie last season, Borregales made 27 of 32 field-goal tries and 53 of 55 PATs across 17 regular-season contests.

Patriots' Andy Borregales: Back for Year 2 with New England
As the coming season approaches, Borregales is set to reprise his role as the Patriots' top kicker, SI.com reports.
After being taken in the sixth round of the 2025 NFL Draft, Borregales beat out Parker Romo last summer to emerge as New England's starting kicker ahead of the team's surprising 14-3 regular-season campaign. In the process, the 23-year University of Miami product made 27 of 32 field-goal attempts (84 percent) and 53 of 55 extra-point tries, en route to recording 134 points (seventh in the league among kickers) in 17 games. In his second campaign as a pro, his fantasy upside hinges on how an offense led by rising young signal-caller Drake Maye clicks, but at a minimum Borregales should be a solid streaming option when the Patriots are heavily favored and/or playing indoors.

Borregales wraps the regular season of his rookie campaign having suited up for all 17 games, and converting 27 of 32 field-goal attempts (84 percent) and 53 of 55 extra-point tries. Impressively, Borregales has converted all four of his attempts from 50-plus yards out so far. He'll look to remain steady as the Patriots enter the AFC Playoffs, beginning with Sunday's wild-card round matchup against the Chargers.

Borregales missed his only field-goal attempt and went 6-for-6 on PATs in Sunday's 42-10 win over the Jets.
Borregales was limited to just one field-goal try for the second time in three weeks, hitting the right upright on a 41-yard attempt in the third quarter. The kicker has now gone 26-for-30 on field-goal tries, including 3-for-3 from 50-plus yards, while making 48 of 50 extra-point attempts over 16 games in his rookie campaign.
