Browns' Mike Hall: Not yet able to practice
Cleveland placed Hall (knee) on the active/PUP list Tuesday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.

Browns' Mike Hall: Had offseason knee surgery
Browns GM Andrew Berry said Monday that Hall did require offseason knee surgery, and Hall is expected to miss the offseason program, Daniel Oyefusi of ESPN.com reports.
Selected in the second round of the 2024 NFL Draft, Hall suffered a neck stinger last August and then was involved in a domestic violence issue that led to a five-game suspension. He later missed time with a knee issue, and Hall went on to play in just eight games as a rookie. He finished the year with 14 tackles (eight solo), including 1.0 sacks. Hall should be ready to go for the start of training camp later this summer.

Browns' Mike Hall: Might need surgery on knee
General Manager Andrew Berry said Monday that Hall (knee) will have a "months-long" recovery timeline, Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.
Hall was knocked out of Saturday's game at Baltimore early by a knee injury, and it's now clear that the issue is no minor ding. With that said, Berry also said Monday that he expects Hall to be ready for the 2025 season, so there's at least hope he won't have to miss any meaningful game action before returning.

Browns' Mike Hall: Won't return against Baltimore
Hall (knee) has been ruled out for the rest of Saturday's game against the Ravens.
Hall injured his knee early in the third quarter while tackling Isaiah Likely. The injury was severe enough for Hall to have his right leg placed in an air cast and for him to be carted off the field, per Daniel Oyefusi of ESPN.com. Hall will end the night with two tackles (one solo), and Jowon Briggs and Michael Dwumfour will serve as the Browns' defensive tackles for the rest of Saturday's game.

Browns' Mike Hall: Will get MRI on knee Sunday
Head coach Kevin Stefanski said after Saturday's 35-10 loss to the Ravens that Hall will get an MRI on his right knee Sunday, Daniel Oyefusi of ESPN.com reports.
Hall injured his right knee early in the third quarter of Saturday's game, which was serious enough for an air cast to be placed on his right leg and for him to be carted off the field. The MRI will determine the severity of the injury and whether his recovery timeline will linger into the 2025 season. The rookie second-round pick out of Ohio State will finish his first NFL regular season with 12 tackles (seven solo), including 1.0 sacks, across seven games.

Browns' Mike Hall: Impresses with larger role
Hall recorded five total tackles (three solo), including 1.0 sacks, in Sunday's 24-6 loss to the Bengals.
The rookie defensive tackle made impactful plays for Cleveland's defense in his first career start Sunday, stepping in for the injured Shelby Harris (elbow). Hall recorded his first NFL sack while also tallying a career-best five total tackles. His performance in Week 16 could have earned him a larger defensive role for the remainder of the season, especially with the Browns already eliminated from playoff contention.

Browns' Mike Hall: Clear for return Sunday
Hall (knee) does not have an injury designation for Sunday's Week 15 contest against Kansas City, Daniel Oyefusi of ESPN.com reports.
Updating a previous report. Hall is no longer questionable for Sunday's game after being activated off injured reserve Saturday. The rookie defensive lineman is set to return from a four-game absence and will likely serve in a rotational on defense while also contributing on special teams.

Browns' Mike Hall: Comes off IR
The Browns activated Hall (knee) off injured reserve Saturday, Daniel Oyefusi of ESPN.com reports.
Hall landed on IR due to a knee injury Nov. 16 and has since missed the required four games. He remains questionable for Sunday's Week 15 matchup against Kansas City but seems likely to play given his activation and an LP/LP/FP practice progression this week. If Hall does play Sunday, he would likely serve in the same rotational role he was holding down prior to his injury.

Browns' Mike Hall: Could return Sunday
Hall (knee) is listed as questionable ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Chiefs, Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports.
Hall must still be activated to Cleveland's active roster in order to play Sunday; however, he appears to be trending toward suiting up after upgrading to a full practice session Friday. If the rookie defensive tackle is sidelined for the fifth consecutive game in Week 15, expect Jowon Briggs to serve as the Browns' top backup interior defensive lineman.

Browns' Michael Hall: Placed on IR with knee injury
The Browns placed Hall (knee) on injured reserve Saturday, Daniel Oyefusi of ESPN.com reports.
Hall suffered a knee injury during Thursday's practice, and it's serious enough to warrant a multi-week absence, per Oyefusi. Hall will be forced to sit for at least the next four regular-season games, making Week 15 against the Chiefs on Sunday, Dec. 15 the earliest he can return.

Browns' Michael Hall: Won't play Sunday
Hall (knee) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Saints, Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.
Hall popped up as a limited participant on Cleveland's injury report Thursday, and he downgraded to a DNP at Friday's practice due to a knee issue. The 2024 second-round pick has recorded just five total tackles across four appearances this season. Expect Maurice Hurst to see additional work as the Browns' only backup interior defensive lineman Sunday.

Browns' Michael Hall: Activated for Week 6
Cleveland lifted Hall's (suspension) one-game roster exemption Saturday, Kelsey Russo of the Browns' official site reports.
Hall missed the first five games of the campaign as a result of an NFL suspension for violating the league's personal conduct policy. The defensive lineman is now finished with that punishment and appears to be in line to make his NFL debut Sunday. Hall, who was selected in the second round of April's NFL Draft, will likely play a rotational role along the Browns' defensive line.

Browns' Michael Hall: Suspension over, roster exemption
Hall's suspension was lifted Monday, but the Browns were granted a one-game roster exemption, giving the team a deadline of Monday, Oct. 14 to reinstate him to the active roster or otherwise release him, Daniel Oyefusi of ESPN.com reports.
Hall opened the 2024 season with a five-game suspension, and now that the Browns have completed those five contests, he can return to the practice field. The team will have the ability to evaluate him at practice during the week and add him to the active roster before Sunday's matchup with the Eagles. The Browns took Hall in the second round of the 2024 NFL Draft after a successful collegiate career at Ohio State, and he'll now finally be able to make his professional debut.

Browns' Michael Hall: Suspended five games
Hall (neck) has been suspended by the NFL for five games for violating the personal conduct policy, Dan Graziano of ESPN.com reports.
Hall was on the commissioner's exempt list after being charged with domestic violence in mid-August. Because Hall was on that list in accordance with the personal conduct policy, all four of the regular-season games he has missed this year will be credited against his suspension. As such, the rookie second-round pick will be eligible to return to team activities following the Browns' Week 5 game against the Commanders on Oct. 6.
