Steelers' Malik Harrison: Returning in Week 9
Harrison (knee) was activated from the injured reserve list Saturday, Burt Lauten of the Steelers' official site reports.
The Ohio State product missed the Steelers' last six games after sustaining a knee injury in the Week 1 win over the Jets. He was originally listed as questionable for Sunday's matchup against the Colts, but it now appears he's ready to return. With Cole Holcomb (illness) set to miss the Week 9 contest, Harrison is likely to play an expanded role in the Steelers' linebacker corps.

Steelers' Malik Harrison: Remaining on IR
Harrison (knee) was not activated off injured reserve and has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Packers, per the NFL's transaction log.
Despite logging a full week of practice, Harrison has not progressed enough in his recovery from a knee injury to be activated off IR ahead of Week 8. Given his practice participation, the 2020 third-rounder has a good chance to make his return for Week 9 against the Colts on Sunday, Nov. 2.

Steelers' Malik Harrison: Could come off IR for TNF
Harrison (knee) is questionable for Thursday's game against Cincinnati, Teresa Varley of the Steelers' official site reports.
Harrison suffered a knee injury in Pittsburgh's season-opening win over the Jets and subsequently landed on IR. He was designated to return Monday and has been limited in practice throughout the week. That gives Harrison a chance to suit up Thursday, though he'd first need to be activated.

Steelers' Malik Harrison: Ready to return to practice
Harrison (knee) was designated to return from injured reserve Monday, Teresa Varley of the Steelers' official site reports.
Harrison suffered a knee injury in Pittsburgh's Week 1 win over the Jets and has been sidelined since. It will be a quick turnaround for him to return to game action in time for Thursday's matchup against the Bengals, so a return for a Week 8 matchup against the Packers might be more realistic.

Steelers' Malik Harrison: Lands on IR
Harrison (knee) was placed on injured reserve Wednesday, Teresa Varley of the Steelers' official site reports.
Head coach Mike Tomlin told reporters Tuesday that Harrison wouldn't be available for Pittsburgh's Week 2 contest against the Seahawks, but following his placement on the injured reserve list, he'll be forced to miss the team's next four games. The Ohio State product played 20 total snaps (four defensive and 16 on special teams) and recorded two total tackles before sustaining a knee injury in the Steelers' Week 1 win over the Jets. Carson Bruener could see increased snaps as a rotational inside linebacker while Harrison remains sidelined.

Head coach Mike Tomlin announced Tuesday that Harrison (knee) will not play in the Steelers' Week 2 contest against the Seahawks on Sunday, Alan Saunders of SteelersNow.com reports.
Harrison suffered a knee injury during the Steelers' Week 1 win over the Jets. The injury is severe enough for the 2020 third-rounder to miss at least one week, and he'll work on recovering enough to be available for Week 3 against the Patriots on Sunday, Sept. 21.
