Jeremiah Moon: Let go by Steelers
The Steelers waived Moon (calf) with an injury designation Tuesday, Teresa Varley of the team's official site reports.
Moon suffered a calf injury during Saturday's practice and has now been let go. If he is not claimed off waivers by another team, then Moon would revert to injured reserve, which would force him to miss the entire 2025 season unless he reaches an injury settlement with the Steelers. Moon appeared in 13 regular-season games for the Steelers in 2024 and logged nine tackles (five solo) while mostly serving on special teams.

Moon (ankle) is active for Sunday night's game against the Cowboys, Teresa Varley of the Steelers' official site reports.
Moon was reinstated from injured reserve Saturday, and he'll make his Steelers debut Sunday. Moon appeared in eight regular-season games for the Ravens in 2023 and finished with 12 tackles (six solo) and two forced fumbles. He could see some reps with the first-team defense due to starting outside linebacker Alex Highsmith (groin) being inactive for Sunday night's game.
