Ham announced his retirement from the NFL on Feb. 3, per his Instagram.
Ham will retire after spending the entirety of his nine-year career with the Vikings. During his final season, the 32-year-old appeared in 11 games and carried the ball three times for five yards and two touchdowns, the latter of which matched his career-high total.

Vikings' C.J. Ham: Gets rare rushing TD
Ham recorded a one-yard touchdown on his lone carry in Sunday's 34-26 win at Dallas.
Ham has just four carries this season and four in his last three seasons, so the scoring tote that he earned Sunday should be viewed as an extreme outlier. The 32-year-old is one of the NFL's top blocking fullbacks, but he rarely touches the ball, even at the goal line.

Ham (hand) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Ravens.
Ham has missed the past two games due to a hand injury he sustained in the Week 7 loss to the Eagles, but he has been cleared to play Sunday. In just two games this season, Ham has logged 24 offensive snaps and 35 special teams snaps. The 32-year-old fullback will look to be back on the field Sunday contributing to the Vikings' rushing attack and special teams unit.

Ham was unable to play against the Chargers in Week 8 due to a hand injury he picked up against the Eagles in Week 7. He's missed the first two practices of Week 9 prep, and he'll have to practice in at least a limited capacity Friday to have a realistic chance of playing against the Lions on Sunday. Without another fullback on the active roster, the Vikings would continue to lean on tight ends Josh Oliver (foot) and Ben Yurosek to handle backfield blocking duties if Ham is not cleared to play.

Vikings' C.J. Ham: Won't play vs. Bolts
Ham (hand) has been ruled out for Thursday's game against the Chargers, Craig Peters of the Vikings' official site reports.
Ham was a DNP at practice during the condensed week due to a left hand injury that he sustained against the Eagles on Sunday, and the veteran fullback will be sidelined for Thursday's game as a result. The Vikings don't have another fullback on the roster, but they could use tight ends such as Josh Oliver, Ben Yurosek and practice squad member Nick Vannett as blockers out of the backfield for Week 8. Ham's next opportunity to play is Week 9 against the Lions on Sunday, Nov. 2.
