  • Broncos' Courtland Sutton: Paces pass catchers in upset win

Sutton brought in eight of 10 targets for 99 yards in the Broncos' 21-17 win over the Eagles on Sunday. Sutton led the Broncos in receptions, receiving yards and targets on the afternoon, recording a team-high 34-yard catch along the way. The veteran wideout fell just short of what would have been his second 100-yard game of the campaign, but he's now posted at least 81 receiving yards in three straight contests. Sutton figures to remain Bo Nix's top target when the Broncos travel to London to face the Jets in a Week 6 clash next Sunday.

  • Broncos' Courtland Sutton: Leading receiver on MNF

Sutton finished with five receptions (on six targets) for 81 yards and a touchdown in Monday's 28-3 win over the Bengals. Sutton stayed hot with his second trip to the end zone in as many weeks while pacing the Broncos in receiving yards on Monday Night Football. The one-catch dud in Week 2 is proving to be an anomaly after the veteran wideout posted WR1 numbers in his three other starts this year. Expect Sutton to continue operating as QB Bo Nix's favorite target in a road matchup against the Eagles on Sunday.

  • Broncos' Courtland Sutton: Re-establishes himself as top WR

Sutton corralled six of eight targets for 118 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 23-20 loss to the Chargers. Sutton bounced back nicely from last week's one-catch dud, ripping off a 52-yard touchdown grab while posting his first 100-plus yard performance of the season. The 29-year-old re-established himself as Bo Nix's favorite option, finishing with four more targets than Marvin Mims and rookie Troy Franklin. Sutton will carry a healthy 13-185-2 receiving line into a Week 4 matchup against the Bengals on Monday Night Football.

  • Broncos' Courtland Sutton: WRs to Start

Sutton struggled in Week 2 at Indianapolis with one catch for 6 yards on four targets, but he should bounce back this week at the Chargers. Sutton has scored a touchdown in three of his past four games against the Chargers, and Los Angeles could struggle to put pressure on Bo Nix in this game with standout pass rusher Khalil Mack (elbow) out. Troy Franklin, who had 24 PPR points in Week 2 at the Colts, is worth using as a No. 3 Fantasy receiver in all leagues. But I like Sutton as a solid No. 2 Fantasy option in all formats in Week 3.

  • Broncos' Courtland Sutton: Abysmal Week 2 showing

Sutton recorded one reception on four targets for six yards in Sunday's 29-28 loss to the Colts. Bo Nix spread targets among the Denver pass catchers very evenly, with nine players targeted at least twice in the contest. While that was one factor in limiting Sutton's involvement, Troy Franklin also commanded nine targets to lead the team. It seems unlikely that Franklin will truly challenge Sutton for opportunities moving forward, but this was nevertheless a concerning performance for the latter.

  • Broncos' Courtland Sutton: Touchdown grab in Week 1

Sutton recorded six receptions on nine targets for 61 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 20-12 win over the Titans. Sutton was unsurprisingly Bo Nix's favorite target and led the Broncos in targets, receptions and yards. Sutton accounted for the majority of his production on a leaping, contested 22-yard touchdown catch just before halftime. He chipped in two additional receptions that went for double-digit gains to get his 2025 campaign off to a solid start.

  • Broncos' Courtland Sutton: Impressive to close preseason

Sutton secured four of seven targets for 83 yards and a touchdown in the Broncos' 28-19 preseason win over the Saints on Saturday afternoon. Sutton tied for the team lead in receptions and set the pace in receiving yards and targets on the afternoon as well. The first-team offense was supposed to be in on just 8-10 plays according to head coach Sean Payton's statements earlier in the week, but a lackluster opening drive likely drove Payton to keep the first unit out there for two additional possessions. Sutton put the extra opportunity to good use, rounding out his afternoon with a 19-yard scoring grab to close out the first unit's third and final drive. Sutton heads into the 2025 season as the clear-cut No. 1 receiver in Denver's Bo Nix-led offense.

  • Broncos' Courtland Sutton: One grab against 49ers

Sutton caught one of three targets for two yards in Saturday's 30-9 preseason win over the 49ers. Sutton had a quiet game with limited opportunities in Denver's first game of the preseason. Firmly entrenched as the Broncos' No. 1 wide receiver, the veteran was on the field with the starters during the first quarter of the contest. Though quarterback Bo Nix and Sutton were unable to connect much Saturday, they will look to improve upon a solid 2024 season as the chemistry continues to grow heading into the 2025 campaign. The 29-year-old wideout will have his next opportunity to lead the team's receiving corps when the Broncos host the Cardinals in Denver's second preseason game on Saturday night.

  • Broncos' Courtland Sutton: Signing four-year extension

Sutton and the Broncos agreed Monday to a four-year extension, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports. Sutton was abstaining from full-speed reps in the early days of training camp while his agents and the team hammered out a deal. He now figures to be a full participant, gearing up for Year 2 with Bo Nix after finishing 2024 with career highs for catches, targets and fantasy points.

  • Broncos' Courtland Sutton: Limiting reps during contract talks

Sutton and the Broncos are on the same page about the wideout being a limited practice participant while extension negotiations are ongoing, Parker Gabriel of The Denver Post reports. Gabriel notes that contract talks are amicable, with Sutton seemingly refraining from full-speed drills due to financial caution, not as a negotiating tactic or show of displeasure. He has one season remaining on a four-year, $60.8 million contract, after topping 1,000 yards last season for the first time since 2019. Sutton got off to a slow start last year but quickly improved along with Bo Nix, averaging 6.0 catches for 80.4 yards and 0.6 TDs on 8.8 targets over the final 10 games of the regular season. Continuing with those numbers over a full season in 2025 would make Sutton one of the top picks relative to ADP, but it'll be tougher to repeat that kind of volume after the Broncos upgraded their backfield and complementary pass-catching targets in the offseason.

  • Broncos' Courtland Sutton: Leading receiver in wild-card loss

Sutton caught five of nine targets for 75 yards in Sunday's 31-7 wild-card round loss to the Bills. The veteran wideout led the Broncos in catches, targets and receiving yards, although it was Troy Franklin who was on the other end of rookie QB Bo Nix's only TD pass Sunday. Sutton put together arguably the best campaign of his career in 2024, hauling in a career-high 81 passes for 1,081 yards and a career-high eight touchdowns over 17 regular-season contests, and his per-game averages soared in the second half of the year (60-804-6 over his last 10 games) once he developed stronger chemistry with Nix. Sutton is under contract for one more year, and assuming he returns to Denver in 2025, his big finish will put him in high demand at the fantasy draft table.

  • Broncos' Courtland Sutton: Closes regular season well

Sutton recorded five receptions on seven targets for 98 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 38-0 win over the Chiefs. The Chiefs rested several of their defensive starters, but this was still an impressive performance for Sutton. He picked up nearly half of his yardage on a 47-yard catch midway through the first quarter, and he capped off the same drive with a 10-yard reception in the end zone two plays later. With the showing, he topped 1,000 receiving yards in a season for the first time since 2019 and will remain a key part of the Denver offense in a wild-card round matchup against the Bills.

  • Broncos' Courtland Sutton: WRs to Start

Sutton had a big game against the Chiefs in Week 10 with six catches for 70 yards and a touchdown on nine targets, and he should do well in the rematch in Week 18. Kansas City is expected to rest several starters on defense, and Sutton has scored at least 14.8 PPR points in seven of his past nine games. He has top-15 upside in the majority of leagues.

  • Broncos' Courtland Sutton: Grabs seventh touchdown

Sutton recorded five receptions on nine targets for 55 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's 30-24 overtime loss to the Bengals. Sutton had only one catch in the first half but came alive along with the entire Denver offense in the final two quarters. He made a leaping six-yard touchdown grab to tally his seventh score of the season late in the third quarter and later chipped in long grabs of 15, 14 and 13 yards. Sutton has at least nine targets in seven of his last nine games and remains the primary option in the Broncos' passing attack.

  • Broncos' Courtland Sutton: WRs to Start

Sutton is due for a big game after two down performances, and I expect him to get back on track in Week 17 at Cincinnati. Sutton has scored a combined 22.2 PPR points in his past two games against the Colts and Chargers with just eight catches for 82 yards and a touchdown on 15 targets. Prior to that, he scored at least 14.8 PPR points in six games in a row, and he should be in that range against the Bengals -- or better. Cincinnati has shut down the receivers in Tennessee and Cleveland in the past two games, but prior to that at least one receiver had scored at least 16.1 PPR points against the Bengals in seven games in a row. Sutton should be considered a solid No. 2 Fantasy receiver in all leagues.

  • Broncos' Courtland Sutton: Five catches in TNF loss

Sutton brought in five of six targets for 50 yards in the Broncos' 34-27 loss to the Chargers on Thursday night. Sutton finished second across the board in receptions, receiving yards and targets for the Broncos on the night. The veteran wideout saw a highly productive six-game stretch with at least six catches and 70 receiving yards in each contest snapped Week 15 against the Colts, and although he saw a slight uptick Thursday, he still delivered relatively modest numbers for fantasy managers relying on him in playoff matchups. Sutton should have a good chance of bouncing back in a Week 17 road matchup against the vulnerable Bengals defense on Saturday, Dec. 28.

  • Broncos' Courtland Sutton: Salvages fantasy line with late TD

Sutton caught three of nine targets for 32 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 31-13 win over the Colts. Sutton was quiet prior to scoring a 20-yard touchdown with 5:48 remaining in the fourth quarter. That play was enough to propel him into the team lead in receiving yards as Bo Nix threw for only 130 yards in this turnover-filled matchup. Sutton has seen at least eight targets in seven consecutive games heading into Thursday's clash with the Chargers, and this was the first time in that busy stretch that Sutton failed to reach 70 receiving yards.

  • Broncos' Courtland Sutton: WRs to Start

Sutton is on fire coming into Week 13 against the Browns, and he should stay hot on Monday night. Sutton has scored at least 14.8 PPR points in five games in a row, including three outings with at least 19 PPR points. He has at least eight targets in each game over that span, and he's become a standout Fantasy option with Bo Nix getting hot as well. I like Devaughn Vele as a sleeper in Week 13 also, and the Browns are No. 10 in most Fantasy points allowed to opposing receivers. Five receivers have scored at least 14.3 PPR points against Cleveland in the past four games.

  • Broncos' Courtland Sutton: Goes for two scores Sunday

Sutton grabbed eight receptions (on 10 targets) for 97 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 29-19 win over the Raiders. Sutton was on the receiving end of both of Bo Nix's touchdown passes Sunday, resulting in his first multi-score game of 2024. The veteran wideout boosted his season line to 57-744-5 through 12 games with this dominant showing. Sutton has recorded at least 70 receiving yards in five straight contests since being held without a target back in Week 7. Fantasy managers should continue riding this wave of production into next Monday's tilt against the Browns.

  • Broncos' Courtland Sutton: Leading receiver in lopsided win

Sutton caught seven of eight targets for 78 yards in Sunday's 38-6 win over the Falcons. Sutton led the team in targets, catches and receiving yards but wasn't on the receiving end of any of Bo Nix's four touchdown passes. Since being held without a catch by the Saints in Week 7, Sutton has bounced back by posting at least six catches and 70 yards in each of his last four games. With Nix surging under center, Denver's top wide receiver has turned into a reliable fantasy option ahead of a Week 12 road game against the Raiders.
