Dolphins' Rasul Douglas: Staring down free agency
Douglas made 62 tackles (37 solo), including 1.0 sacks, across 15 regular-season appearances with the Dolphins in 2025. He also racked up 13 passes defensed, including two interceptions, and one forced fumble.
Douglas tallied his highest tackle total since 2022 while playing out the 2025 campaign on a one-year, $1.57 million contract with Miami. While operating mostly as a coverage option in the slot, Douglas was one of the more reliable members of the Dolphins' secondary. He shouldn't have much difficulty finding another starting role in free agency.

Dolphins' Rasul Douglas: Will suit up Week 15
Douglas (foot) does not have an injury designation for Monday's battle against Pittsburgh, C. Isaiah Smalls II of the Miami Herald reports.
Douglas upgraded to a full practice Saturday after being limited the first two sessions this week. As such, he is clear of an injury designation and will take the field on Monday Night Football. Douglas should serve in his usual role as Miami's starting slot cornerback.

Dolphins' Rasul Douglas: Limited at practice Thursday
Douglas (foot) was a limited participant in Thursday's practice, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
Douglas played just 74 percent of defensive snaps during Miami's win over the Jets in Week 14 after having played 100 percent of snaps Week 13, so it's possible he suffered his foot injury during the game against New York. He made a tremendous impact for the Dolphins versus the Jets, with two tackles and five defensed passes, including one interception. Douglas will reprise a crucial starting role in Miami's secondary versus the Steelers on Monday, as long as he's able to gain clearance.

Dolphins' Rasul Douglas: Nabs interception in Week 14 win
Douglas registered two tackles and five defensed passes, including an interception, Sunday in a 34-10 win against the Jets.
Douglas dominated as a ballhawk in the rout, nearly doubling his previous season total with an impressive five defensed passes. Among those was a pickoff late in the second quarter that occurred on Miami's goal line to prevent a Jets score. That was Douglas' second interception of the campaign, and his 11 defensed passes are two shy of his career-high regular-season mark.

Dolphins' Rasul Douglas: Limited to start practice week
Douglas (foot/illness) was a limited participant at Wednesday's practice, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
Douglas was dealing with this foot injury ahead of last week's win over the Saints, but the illness is a new issue. It's encouraging that he was still able to practice in some capacity, however, giving him a good chance to play in Week 15 versus the Jets. Douglas has recorded 42 tackles (29 solo), six pass breakups, an interception and 1.0 sacks through 10 games.

The pick was his first of the season, and he's now registered 42 total tackles (29 solo), including 1.0 sacks, while also adding six passes defensed and a forced fumble over 10 games this year.

Dolphins' Rasul Douglas: Cleared to play New Orleans
Douglas (foot) is active for Sunday's game against the Saints.
Douglas has been cleared to return from a two-game absence due to a foot injury, which means there will be less snaps available in the secondary for the likes of Ifeatu Melifonwu and Ethan Bonner. Douglas has accumulated 36 tackles (25 solo), including 1.0 sacks, five pass defenses and one forced fumble through nine regular-season games.
