Gaither was cut from the Ravens' practice squad Monday, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports.
Gaither inked a deal with the team Wednesday, after it was initially reported the Ravens were going to sign Andy Isabella to their practice squad. However, now the team has signed Isabella and is cutting Gaither in a corresponding move.

The Ravens signed Gaither to their practice squad Wednesday.
Gaither was let go by the Giants following a failed physical at the end of August, and despite working out for the Broncos at the beginning of September, he remained a free agent to start the 2022 campaign. However, the 25-year-old has found a new opportunity with the Ravens via a practice-squad deal. The wideout has spent time with the Packers, Ravens and Giants since 2021, but he's yet to make his NFL debut.

Gaither walked to the locker room after the special teams portion of practice, spending a few minutes trying to get stretched out before heading inside. The second-year receiver has had a bumpy road over the past year, as he signed with the Packers in 2021 as an undrafted free agent but then retired during last year's training camp. Gaither came out of retirement in 2022 to play for the Pittsburgh Maulers in the USFL, and he ultimately joined the Ravens in July. It remains to be seen if the 25-year-old can be cleared to play ahead of Thursday's preseason game against the Titans.
