Meyers secured four of six targets for 32 yards in the Raiders' 40-6 loss to the Colts on Sunday.
With Brock Bowers (knee) unavailable, the expectation was that Meyers would be even busier than usual in his role as the Raiders' No. 1 receiver. However, all of Tre Tucker, Ashton Jeanty and even practice squad call-up Albert Okwuegbunam outpaced Meyers in receptions, receiving yards or both. After opening the season in typically productive fashion with a 17-228-0 line on 26 targets over his first three games, Meyers has slumped to an 8-62-0 tally on 13 targets over the last pair of contests. The veteran will have a good opportunity to bounce back in Week 6, however, as a suspect Titans defense comes to Las Vegas next Sunday afternoon.

Raiders' Jakobi Meyers: WRs to Start
Rotowire
Meyers struggled the past two games against Washington and Chicago with a combined 16.3 PPR points, but he had seven targets against the Bears in a game where Geno Smith attempted just 21 passes. Meyers remains a go-to option for Smith, and he should start playing at a high level again, including in Week 5 against the Colts. Indianapolis is No. 3 in most Fantasy points allowed to opposing receivers, and four receivers in the past three games scored at least 13.8 PPR points. I like Meyers as a No. 2 Fantasy receiver in all leagues.

Raiders' Jakobi Meyers: Leads team with seven targets
Rotowire
Meyers brought in four of seven targets for 30 yards in Sunday's 25-24 loss to Chicago.
Meyers wound up leading the Raiders in targets, but the end result was a season low in receiving yards. The veteran wideout's yardage total has decreased on a weekly basis, but he was able to buck a similar trend in targets with Sunday's seven looks from Geno Smith. Meyers should continue providing a solid fantasy floor as the Raiders prepare to face the Colts next Sunday.

Raiders' Jakobi Meyers: WRs to Start
Rotowire
Meyers had a down game in Week 3 at Washington with three catches for 63 yards on four targets, and he was overshadowed by Tre Tucker's breakout performance (eight catches for 145 yards and three touchdowns on nine targets). I expect Meyers to bounce back against the Bears, and he scored at least 12.8 PPR points in each of his first two outings this season and leads the Raiders in targets with 26. Chicago is No. 3 in most Fantasy points allowed to opposing receivers, and four receivers this season have already scored at least 14.8 PPR points. Meyers should be considered a No. 2 Fantasy receiver in all leagues, and I also like Tucker as a high-end No. 3 receiver given the matchup.

Raiders' Jakobi Meyers: Three grabs in Sunday's loss
Rotowire
Meyers caught three of four targets for 63 yards in Sunday's 41-24 loss to the Commanders.
After seeing double-digit targets in each of the first two games of 2025, Meyers saw his volume crater in Week 3 as Tre Tucker instead got more of Geno Smith's attention. Meyers has still topped 60 receiving yards in three straight contests en route to a 17-228-0 line on 26 targets, and there could be plenty of volume to go around in Week 4 against a Bears defense that has been one of the worst units in the NFL to begin the year.

Raiders' Jakobi Meyers: WRs to Start
Rotowire
Meyers is off to a great start with Geno Smith with 14 catches for 165 yards on 22 targets in two games against the Patriots and Chargers, and he scored at least 12.8 PPR points in each outing. This should be another game where Meyers gets plenty of volume, and he has scored at least 13.7 PPR points in four games in a row on the road. I like Meyers as a No. 2 Fantasy receiver in all leagues.

Raiders' Jakobi Meyers: Contrarian DFS Play
Rotowire
Meyers has always been disrespected, but this is getting absurd. He has 22 targets in two games, and he is the 24th most expensive wide receiver on FanDuel. This, with Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Waddle, Amon-Ra St. Brown, Zay Flowers, and Malik Nabers all playing in primetime games. You might guess that will make his roster rate high, but that is rarely the case with Meyers.
Meyers finished with six receptions (on 12 targets) for 68 yards in Monday's 20-9 loss to the Chargers.
Meyers paced Las Vegas in targets, receptions and receiving yards, despite finishing with a poor catch rate (50 percent). The 28-year-old has garnered double-digit targets in both appearances with new QB Geno Smith this season, cementing the wideout's spot atop the Raiders' depth chart. Meyers' predictable volume makes him a reliable starting option heading into Sunday's tilt against the Commanders, offering a notable boost in value for those in PPR formats.

Raiders' Jakobi Meyers: WRs to Start
Rotowire
Meyers was once again a quiet star in Week 1 at New England with eight catches for 97 yards on 10 targets. Geno Smith seems to love Meyers already, and Fantasy managers should consider him a No. 2 Fantasy receiver in the majority of leagues. Brock Bowers (knee) could be limited in this game, which could provide a boost for Meyers as well. And the last time he faced the Chargers in Week 18 last season he had nine catches for 123 yards and a touchdown on 10 targets. Meyers also has scored at least 13.7 PPR points in eight of his past 11 games going back to last year.

Raiders' Jakobi Meyers: Just short of 100-yard mark in win
Rotowire
Meyers brought in eight of 10 targets for 97 yards in the Raiders' 20-13 win over the Patriots on Sunday.
Facing his old squad, Meyers finished with team-leading reception and target totals while checking in just behind Brock Bowers (knee) in receiving yards. The veteran wideout displayed an encouraging rapport with new quarterback Geno Smith, and Meyers' final line was a signature one for a receiver that's made his living in the league excelling in the short- and medium-range passing windows. Meyers should be very busy again during a Week 2 home divisional showdown with the Chargers on Monday night, Sept. 15.

Raiders' Jakobi Meyers: Sleeper WRs
Rotowire
Amari Cooper retired Thursday, and now Meyers should definitely be the No. 1 receiver for the Raiders, if there was any doubt. I like the upside for rookie Dont'e Thornton Jr., who is a deep sleeper for this week, but Meyers should be second on the team in targets, at worst, behind Brock Bowers. And this is a revenge game for Meyers since he played the first four years of his career in New England. He faced the Patriots in 2023 in Las Vegas and had five catches for 61 yards and a touchdown on seven targets. And New England standout cornerback Christian Gonzalez (hamstring) is out for this game. I like Meyers as a high-end No. 3 Fantasy receiver in all leagues.

Raiders' Jakobi Meyers: Beneficiary of Cooper's retirement?
Rotowire
Meyers, who is still seeking a contract extension with the Raiders, appears further entrenched as the team's No. 1 receiver following the announcement of Amari Cooper's retirement Thursday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Meyers expressed uncertainty about the odds of he and Las Vegas reaching agreement on a long-term extension after Wednesday's practice, but the retirement of Cooper -- who inked with the Raiders last week -- could benefit him both in terms of projected target share and contract leverage. Though Las Vegas can lean on star TE Brock Bowers in the passing game, the team now has little in the way of proven contributors at wideout behind Meyers. Tre Tucker tallied just a 47-539-3 receiving line while playing all 17 regular-season games last year, while rookies Dont'e Thornton and Jack Bech have yet to handle a regular-season snap. Meyers requested a trade late August and said Wednesday he doesn't intend to hold out, but negotiation leverage may have swung in his favor ahead of Sunday's road matchup against the Patriots.

Raiders' Jakobi Meyers: Unsure of extension chances
Rotowire
Meyers said Wednesday that he's unsure whether he and the Raiders will be able to reach agreement on a contract extension, Tashan Reed of The Athletic reports.
Meyers requested a trade from Las Vegas in late August due to dissatisfaction with his current contract situation, and he cited loyalty to his teammates Wednesday as the cause of his not holding out. Currently, Meyers is heading into the final year of his contract with the team and will be due $10.76 million for the 2025 season. The No. 1 receiver tallied the first 1,000-yard campaign of his career while playing 15 regular-season games in 2024, totaling an 86-1,027-8 receiving line on 129 targets. He's positioned alongside tight end Brock Bowers as one of Geno Smith's clear top options in the receiving game heading into Sunday's regular-season opener on the road against New England.

Raiders' Jakobi Meyers: Requests trade
Rotowire
Meyers has requested a trade from the Raiders, Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero of NFL Network report.
Per Pelissero, after Meyers -- who is due $10.76 million in the last year of his contract -- couldn't agree on an extension with the Raiders, the wideout requested a trade. That said, Rapoport notes that at this stage the team has no plans to deal the 28-year-old, who caught 87 passes in 15 regular-season games in 2024.

Raiders' Jakobi Meyers: Blanked in preseason finale
Rotowire
Meyers failed to bring in his only target in the Raiders' 20-10 preseason loss to the Cardinals on Saturday night.
Meyers played on the Raiders' opening drive with Geno Smith and other starters but came up empty on his one opportunity. Despite a quiet preseason that saw him bring in only one of three targets for four yards, Meyers will begin the regular season against his old Patriots squad on Sunday, Sept. 7 as Las Vegas' No. 1 wide receiver, although tight end Brock Bowers could well prove to be Smith's top target over the course of the campaign.

Raiders' Jakobi Meyers: No catches in preseason opener
Rotowire
Meyers didn't catch his only target in Thursday's 23-23 preseason tie against the Seahawks.
New Raiders quarterback Geno Smith played only one drive while some other starters played into the team's second possession. Meyers and Smith will have to wait to register their first connection in an NFL game, but the veteran wide receiver is poised to remain a key component of Vegas' offense come the regular season. Meyers has little to prove in the preseason, but he and the rest of the starters may get more playing time in the team's second preseason game against the 49ers on Aug. 16.

Raiders' Jakobi Meyers: Still top wideout in Vegas
Rotowire
As the Raiders' first training camp practice approaches, Meyers remains locked in as a starter in the team's wide receiver corps, Tashan Reed of The Athletic reports.
Though Meyers can also line up outside, most of his reps during OTAs came in the slot. After recording an 87-1,027-4 receiving line on a career high 129 targets over 15 regular-season games in 2024, the sure-handed pass catcher seems poised to maintain steady volume in an offense that is now helmed by veteran QB Geno Smith, who should represent an upgrade over Gardner Minshew and Aidan O'Connell. While Meyers remains entrenched as the Raiders' WR1, it's a three-man competition between Tre Tucker, Jack Bech and Dont'e Thornton for slotting behind the 28-year-old.

Raiders' Jakobi Meyers: Concludes career-best season
Rotowire
Meyers recorded nine receptions on 10 targets for 123 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 34-20 loss to the Chargers.
Meyers was the only thing working in the Raiders' offense for the majority of the game, as he connected with Aidan O'Connell for four receptions of at least 20 yards -- the longest of which went for a 25-yard score. That was enough to bring him over 1,000 receiving yards in a season for the first time in his career. Meyers will enter 2025 in the final year of his three-year contract with the Raiders, and he should remain a key part of the offense.

Raiders' Jakobi Meyers: Finds end zone in win
Rotowire
Meyers caught five of nine targets for 61 yards in Sunday's 25-10 win over the Saints.
The veteran wideout found the end zone for the first time since Week 8 with a three-yard catch in the second quarter. Meyers is up to 78 receptions on the season, leaving him five shy of tying his career high, and his 904 yards is already a new personal best. He'll try to reach 1,000 yards for the first time in a Week 18 clash against the Chargers.

Raiders' Jakobi Meyers: Minimal role in Week 16 win
Rotowire
Meyers recorded two receptions on five targets for 41 yards in Sunday's 19-14 win over the Jaguars.
Aidan O'Connell's return was generally positive for the Raiders' offense, but that wasn't the case for Meyers. He saw his fewest targets since Week 2 and tallied his lowest reception total of the campaign. The lone positive from the performance was that Meyers delivered explosive gains of 24 and 17 yards on his two catches. He should get more involved once again in Week 17 against the Saints.
