Falcons' Carlos Davis: Signs with Atlanta
The Falcons signed Davis on Wednesday.
A seventh-round pick of the Steelers in 2020, Davis appeared in 12 games across three seasons in Pittsburgh, totaling 12 tackles and one sack. He'll likely compete for a depth role along the Falcons' defensive line, which is expected to be an improved unit in 2023 after the additions of Calais Campbell and David Onyemata earlier this offseason.

Steelers' Carlos Davis: Returns to active roster
Davis (knee) was activated from injured reserve Saturday.
Davis wasn't placed on IR until Oct. 27, but he hasn't suited up since Week 1 with the injury. The second-year pro will likely fill a depth role on the edge behind Chris Wormley and Cameron Heyward, yet it's difficult to gauge how much action he'll see coming off so much missed time.

Steelers' Carlos Davis: Returns to practice
Davis (knee) returned to practice Thursday, opening up the 21-day window for Pittsburgh to remove him from IR.
Davis has missed the minimum three games required during an IR stint, so he'll be eligible to return to game action whenever the Steelers activate him. Such a move could still come before Sunday's game against the Chargers if Davis gets back up to speed quickly, though the following week's game in Cincinnati probably represents a more realistic return target for the defensive lineman.

The Steelers placed Davis (knee) on injured reserve Wednesday.
Davis suffered a knee injury during the season opener and has been sidelined since. The 25-year-old defensive end will miss at least the next three weeks with the move to injured reserve. Isaiahh Loudermilk will likely continue to see an increased role while Davis is out.

Steelers' Carlos Davis: Out for Week 4
Davis (knee) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Packers, Adam Caplan of SiriusXM NFL Radio reports.
Davis will miss his third consecutive game Sunday as he's dealing with a knee injury he suffered after Week 1. The rookie will likely be replaced by Isaiahh Loudermilk, who will be the Steelers' main depth piece at defensive end. Davis' next chance to play will be Week 5 against the Broncos.

Steelers' Carlos Davis: Not playing against Bengals
Davis (knee) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Bengals, according to Teresa Varley of the Steelers' official site.
Davis did not practice at all during the week, and the coaching staff has ruled him out for Sunday's contest. The defensive lineman has missed Pittsburgh's last two games and played in only 20 percent of the defensive snaps in Week 1 against Buffalo, so he's not expected to play a big role even if healthy. His next chance to play will come in Week 4 at Green Bay.

Steelers' Carlos Davis: Out Week 2
Davis (knee) will not play in Sunday's game versus the Raiders, Brooke Pryor of ESPN.com reports.
Davis practiced in limited fashion Wednesday before being sidelined the rest of the week. His absence means Isaiahh Loudermilk will be the main source of depth at defensive end.
