Garrett managed an ankle injury leading up to Week 5 against the Vikings. He was cleared to play in that game and finished with three solo tackles while playing a season-high 57 snaps on defense. Garrett has opened the week with a limited practice Wednesday, but the 2023 Defensive Player of the Year likely will be given the green light to play against the Steelers on Sunday unless he suffers a setback.

Garrett tallied three solo tackles during the Browns' 21-17 loss to the Vikings on Sunday in London, England.
Garrett was cleared to play after working through an ankle injury during the week leading up to Sunday's contest. He played a season-high 57 defensive snaps but wasn't able to log a sack for a second consecutive game. Head coach Kevin Stefanski told reporters that Garrett (ankle) won't practice Wednesday and is considered day-to-day, Ashley Bastock of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.
The 29-year-old appears to have sustained an ankle injury in the Browns' Week 4 loss to the Lions, despite playing 48 defensive snaps and logging two total tackles. Garrett's practice participation Thursday and Friday will likely provide the best indication of whether he can suit p for the Week 5 matchup against Minnesota. Garrett logged six tackles (two solo), including 0.5 sacks, during the Browns' 13-10 win over the Packers on Sunday.
Garrett wreaked havoc on the Packers' offensive line, and he combined with Adin Huntington on an eight-yard sack on Jordan Love late in the second quarter, which led to Green Bay punting on the next play. Garrett is up to 4.0 sacks through three games this season, which is tied with Byron Young and Brian Burns for second most in the NFL behind Rashan Gary (4.5).
