Josh Reynolds: Works out with Indy
The Colts hosted Reynolds for a tryout Saturday, Kevin Bowen of 107.5 The Fan Indianapolis reports.
Reynolds played in five regular-season games with the Jets during the 2025 season, totaling 11 receptions for 101 yards. The 31-year-old was sidelined with a hip injury for much of the season but is ready to return to the NFL. With Alec Pierce (ankle) still on the active/PUP list and Josh Downs (groin) injured as well, the Colts could be looking more depth at wide receiver as the preseason continues.

Jets' Josh Reynolds: Plays just five games in 2025
Reynolds (hip) caught 11 of 21 targets for 101 yards across five regular-season games in 2025.
The nine-year veteran from Texas A&M was sidelined for 12 games this season due to a hip injury but was underwhelming when active. Reynolds' most productive stretch of the season came from Weeks 5 through 7, when he caught nine of 16 targets for 83 yards. After inking a one-year, $2.75 million deal with New York last offseason, he's now set to enter unrestricted free agency. Reynolds could draw interest from teams seeking a depth option at wide receiver ahead of the 2026 season.

Jets' Josh Reynolds: Lands on injured reserve
The Jets placed Reynolds (hip) on injured reserve Saturday.
Reynolds appeared on Friday's injury report due to a hip injury. Not only has he been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Bengals, but the injury is severe enough to warrant a stint on IR for the veteran wide receiver. Reynolds will be required to miss at least the next four games, which makes Week 13 against the Falcons on Sunday, Nov. 30 the earliest he is eligible to return. With Reynolds on IR and Garrett Wilson (knee) ruled out for Week 8, the Jets' wide receiver corps will consist of Arian Smith, Allen Lazard, Tyler Johnson, Isaiah Williams and Brandon Smith.
