Trubisky had been considered day-to-day due to general tightness, but the veteran backup has recovered from that issue. He's competing against Will Levis for the second spot on the quarterback depth chart behind 2025 first overall pick Cam Ward.

Trubisky is considered day-to-day due to general tightness, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
The veteran backup quarterback felt the tightness during the initial conditioning test to begin training camp. With Trubisky down for a couple days, Will Levis should get most of the reps with the second-team offense. The two are competing for the top backup job behind Cam Ward this summer.

Titans' Mitchell Trubisky: Signed to back up Ward
The Titans are set to sign Trubisky to two-year deal, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.
Trubisky, who served as Josh Allen's top backup the last two seasons while with the Bills, thus is slated to handle a similar role in Tennessee behind 2025 No. 1 overall pick Cam Ward. Also currently in the team's QB mix is Will Levis (shoulder), but the addition of Trubisky could foreshadow the 2023 second-rounder being moved.

Bills' Mitchell Trubisky: Leads backups to victory in Week 18
Trubisky completed 22 of 29 passes for 259 yards and four touchdowns during Sunday's 35-8 win over the Jets. He also rushed five times for five yards.
He took over after Josh Allen was under center for the first snap to keep his streak of 135 consecutive starts intact. Trubisky led Buffalo's offense effortlessly against an outmatched New York defense, turning in one of the best statistical performances of his nine-year NFL career. He'll revert to a backup role beginning with Sunday's wild-card round matchup against the Jaguars. Trubisky concludes the regular season having completed 25 of 35 pass attempts for 313 yards and four touchdowns, while rushing nine times for six yards, over four appearances.
