  • Browns' Germain Ifedi: Goes down with hand injury

Ifedi suffered a hand injury during Saturday's preseason game against Minnesota and has been ruled out from returning, Daniel Oyefusi of ESPN.com reports. Ifedi signed with the Browns in April after spending part of last season on the team's practice squad. He had been on the outside looking in for a spot on the 53-man roster prior to getting hurt Saturday, and the injury could spell an end to his chances if it causes him to miss additional time.

  • Browns' Germain Ifedi: Signs with Cleveland

The Browns signed Ifedi on Thursday. The veteran offensive lineman has appeared in 102 games (83 starts) across his seven-year NFL career, with his most recent in-game action coming back in 2022. Ifedi spent part of his 2023 campaign with the Browns' practice squad, and he's now expected to compete for a depth role on the team's offensive line as the offseason progresses.

  • Bills' Germain Ifedi: Signing with Bills

Buffalo will sign Ifedi to its 53-man roster, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports. Ifedi was released by Detroit on Sunday but has already found a new landing spot with the Bills. The offensive tackle was a first-round pick by Seattle in the 2016 draft but hasn't lived up that billing thus far. However, Ifedi has plenty of experience, playing in 102 games -- mostly as a starter -- through his NFL career.

  • Lions' Germain Ifedi: Joins Lions

Ifedi agreed to a contract with the Lions on Tuesday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports. Ifedi was recently cut loose by the Falcons after re-signing with the team in March. The 2016 first-round pick has now found a new home, though he'll have to battle for a depth role at tackle through the Lions' offseason program and training camp. He logged just six total snaps during the 2022 season.

  • Falcons' Germain Ifedi: Returning to Atlanta

The Falcons re-signed Ifedi to a one-year deal Wednesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports. Ifedi will remain in Atlanta, where he played just six snaps despite being active for all 17 games last season. The 2016 first-round pick is expected to fill a similar depth role at offensive tackle during the upcoming season.
